Coloque al niño en el asiento y preste atención que los glúteos apoyen
contra el respaldo (C).
Introduzca el escudo para impactos (N) en la ranura guía del asiento (fig.
15).
Empuje el escudo para impactos hasta que quede apoyado sobre el vientre
del niño.
Después tire hacia afuera el cinturón de seguridad de 3 puntos del
vehículo, páselo alrededor del kiddy y encájelo directamente en el cierre
propio del vehículo (fig. 16).
Preste atención que la lengüeta del cinturón de seguridad encaje con un
“clic” bien audible.
En el caso de que el escudo para impactos (M) original de kiddy disponga
de figuras para jugar, las mismas deben colocarse sobre el escudo para
impactos para facilitar la colocación del cinturón de seguridad (fig. 17).
Después, coloque el cinturón inferior en las guías rojas del cinturón en el
escudo para impactos (N).
Por último, ajuste el cinturón inferior (fig. 18). Al hacerlo, el escudo para
impactos debe quedar bien apoyado sobre el vientre del niño.
Después, coloque el cinturón de hombros en las guías del cinturón en el
escudo para impactos (fig. 19).
Compruebe que los cinturones estén colocados planos y no queden
sobrepuestos y retorcidos.
Estire el cinturón de hombros (fig. 19).
Antes de iniciar la marcha, compruebe que los cinturones de seguridad
inferior y de hombros se apoyen correctamente sobre el escudo para
impactos (M) y estén tensados pero no retorcidos. Los cinturones deben
apoyarseplanossobreeláreadeguíadecinturonesdelescudoparaimpac-
tos (fig. 19+20). Compruebe periódicamente la ubicación de los cinturones.
