Permit your child to take breaks during longer trips, and be sure that
she does not step out of the vehicle into traffic unattended. Always
use the child safety locks in your vehicle’s passenger doors, if
available.
Do not use the child restraint system (A) any further if parts have
been damaged or loosened after an accident (with an impact speed
greater than 10 km/h) or through other causes (See Section 10).
Use only the seatbelt configuration prescribed by the manufacturer.
4. Seat selection and adjustment
Please familiarise yourself thoroughly with theuse ofchild restraint systems
(A) as described in your vehicle’s owner’s manual.
Thechild restraint system (A) kiddyguardian pro canbe installedin vehicles
on any seat with a three-point restraint system (Fig. 1).
The kiddy guardian pro can also be used in rear-facing car seats that are
equipped with a three-point restraint system (Fig. 1).
Ifthe motor manufacturerallows childrestraint systems onthe passenger
seat, the seat should be moved to the position furthest back.
If installation is prevented by a headrest, it must be set at the highest
position or removed (Fig. 2).
The kiddy guardian pro’s adjustable backrest (C) ensures that it can rest
securely against the backrest of the car seat.
Position the vehicle’s reclining backrestsaccordingly.
