Bicycle for young adults
Source: ISO 4210-2: S pedelec designed for use
on public roads by a young adult whose weight is
less than 40 kg, with maximum saddle height of
635 mm or more and less than 750 mm (see ISO
4210).
Brake lever
Source: EN 15194:2017: lever used to apply the
brake.
Braking distance
Source: EN 15194:2017: distance travelled by a S
pedelec between the commencement of braking
and the point at which the S pedelec comes to
rest.
Cargo bike
Source: DIN 79010: S pedelec mainly designed to
carry goods.
CE marking
Source: Directive on Machinery: the manufacturer
attaches the CE marking to declare that the
S pedelec complies with the applicable
requirements.
City and trekking bicycles
Source: EN-ISO 4210 - 2: S pedelec designed for
use on public roads primarily for means of
transportation or leisure.
