Operating instructions for the training computer
with digital display
Starting the device
Insert 2 batteries. (1,5 V UM
3/AA). The computer carries
out a segment test and shows all
presentable signs. A beep
sounds for confirmation.
1. Start without
previous knowledge
You can begin with the training
without previous knowledge. In
the display, the different infor-
mation is shown. For an effi-
cient training and for setting
your personal training specifi-
cations, please read and follow
these operating instructions.
Setting of the time
After switching on the device or after RESET start,
the DISTANCE field will briefly display total mileage.
Then showing of complete display = segment test with
a signal sound. Then, the clock is displayed (flashing).
If you do not want to set the clock, you can press
the RESET button to access the Start mode and
start exercising. The buttons UP and DOWN
can be used to set the clock. First set hours using
UP / DOWN and confirm with MODE, then set
minutes and again confirm with MODE.
2. Function keys
Setting of function keys can only be
made in resting state.
MODE
Through shortly pressing the MODE
key, you select between the functions
[TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES or PULSE]
both for the display as well as for your personal settings.
When keeping button MODE pressed for a long time, you can
access clock setting. You can change time settings by pressing
SET (see 1) or confirm by pressing MODE. Press MODE again
to access the functions.
SET
With the SET key, the standard values are set. For this the
device must be in idle state > shown in the display in the upper
left: STOP: Through shortly pressing the SET key, the setting values
of the differing functions increases > [TIME; DISTANCE,
CALORIES or PULSE]. If the SET key is pressed for a longer time,
the setting values can be reached in a quicker counting sequence.
RESET
The RESET button is used to set the functions to >0<. When setting
the parameters of the respective function, only the value of this
function is set to >0< when shortly pressing the RESET button.
When pressing the RESET button for more than 2 seconds, all
values will be set to >0<; this corresponds to a restart, and you
will get again to clock setting (see above). When replacing the
batteries, the values will also be reset to >0<.
RECOVERY
Use the RECOVERY key to activate the recovery pulse function
after exercising.
3. Functions – Display
General: The display shows a large display and
simultaneously several segments next to each other in the
lower area. Exercise data will be stored after end of
exercise, and can be recalled when starting new exercise.
The new data will then be added.
Exception: The computer was set to >0< using the RESET
button, or the value was set to >0< in the personal exercise
settings, or the batteries were replaced.
- When interrupting exercising for 4 minutes, only the clock
will be displayed.
- If the computer shows indefinable displays, then remove the
batteries, insert them again, and retry.
SCAN
Alternating display of all functions
in large display. Left in the display
respectively the designation
appears in a shortened form:
RPM = Round Per Minute = Rota-
tions per minute / pedal frequency
SPD = SPEED
TM = TIME = Exercise time
DST = DISTANCE = distance covered
CAL = CALORIES = Energy, calorie consumption
PLS = PULSE = Pulse frequency
If the large display with the respec-tive unit appears, the fun-
ction des-cription blinks in the small window.
RPM /SPEED
In this display, at turning intervalls (every 6 seconds),
the pedaling frequency as RPM (=rotations per
minute) and the speed SPEED in km/r are shown.
The highest speed is 99.9 km/h.
TIME
In this display the exercise time is measured. The
maximum time measurement is 99:99 minutes.
DISTANCE
The distance covered is measured in km.
The counting of the distance begins with
>0< and a maximum of up to 99.9 km can
be shown. The counting grading follows in
0.01 km sections = 10 meters.
CALORIES
In this display the calculated calorie con-
sumption is displayed. The maximum display
is 9999.
The data however only serves as a rough gui-
deline in comparison to the different exercises and cannot be
used for medical purposes.
