of controlling components from a vartety of manufacturers once
you regmter the approprrate setup codes mto the remote control
unit.

Refer to the setup code lists to find the setup code for the component
to be registered.

If there

no separate TV code listed, you will need to
perform the followmg steps to access the volume control:

Press the numeric key fo enfer fhe firsf four-digif code for
fhe component.
0 Press and the hold SET UP key until the LED blinks twme,
then release the SET UP key.
l
If performed correctly, the LED will blink twrce.
l
Pornt the remote control at the component and press POWER key
once. It should turn ON/OFF but if it does not repeat step B to a.
l
If the component still does not work, try searchrng for the code.-a
l
If the component does not have a POWER key, press PLAY key
Instead.
0 Press the numeric key to enter “9 - 9 - 3”
l
The LED will blink twice.
Q Press the VCR key once.
*The LED will blink twice.

until all components have been registered.
Notes
l
Although each setup code IS designed to work with a number of
different models, certarn codes may not work with some models.
(Also, certain codes mayonlyoperatesome ofthefunctionsavailable
on a grven model.)

In case the code for TVA/CR combos does not work, enter the TV
code and the VCR code respectively after checkrng the codes (See
“Searchrng for your code”).
l
ForfViVCR combos-if there’s no SeparatelVcode listed, enterthe
code, enter “9-9-3,” and press VCR key Instead.
Perform the followrng instructions to control a TV/VCR Combo:

Turn on the TV/VCR Combo and mserf a video cassetfe.

Press fee VCR key cnce. Next, press and hold fhe SET UP

Use fhe sefup codes for TV/IICR Combos to locate fhe
brand name, fhen press fhe numeric key to enfer the firsf
four-digif code for your component. -!a

If the LED did not blink twrce, repeat steps 8 through H and try
entering the same code again.

Point the remote control at the component and press the
POWER key once.

It should turn off. If it does not respond, repeat steps 8 through a,
trying each code for your
component
until you find one that works.

If it still does not work, try searching for the code, see “Searching for
your code”
