4.3 Power supply and charging
The device is powered by a built-in Lithium-Ion battery. Charge the built-in battery at least for four hours
before using the device for the first time.
To charge the internal battery, connect the smaller end (USB-C) of the supplied USB cable to the
USC-C Socket and the other end (USB-A) to a USB voltage source.
The LED status display lights up red while charging and goes off when the batter is fully charged.
Once charging is completed disconnect the USB charging cable from the USB voltage source,
pull out the charging cable from the BLUETOOTH loudspeaker and close the covering.
Warning! If you use a USB power pack or charging device for charging the loudspeaker, make
sure that the maximum power of the charging device of 5V / 1A is not exceeded so as to avoid
damaging the loudspeaker.
4.4 Switching the loudspeaker On / Off
To switch the device on in the Standby mode, press and hold the <On/Off key> until an acoustic
signal sounds and the Status LED starts flashing.
Press the button once again to switch the device back in the standby mode. The Status LED goes
off and another acoustic signal sounds.
4.5 Pair the loudspeaker with a terminal device
The cordless data transmission via the BLUTOOTH protocol allows for the loudspeaker system to be
connected to the compatible devices. The maximum operating range of the data transmission is 10 m.
Impediments and other electronic devices can impair the signal transmission and reduce the operating
range. To pair the loudspeaker with your terminal device please proceed as follows:
Switch on the BLUETOOTH Loudspeaker.
Now open the BLUETOOTH settings on the terminal device to be paired and start searching for
available BLUETOOTH devices there. Select “AS-50BT” and start the pairing process.
Following the successful pairing the loudspeaker emits a signal tone. Now the music playback can
be controlled via the terminal. To do this, use the music App of your choice.
Hold and press the <Play/Pause> button to interrupt the BLUTOOTH connection.
4.6 True-Wireless Stereo function (TWS)
This function makes it possible to pair two similar loudspeakers to achieve a stereo effect. For this please
proceed as follows:
Place two BLUETOOTH Loudspeakers at a distance of 1 meter from each other and switch on
both of them. Ensure that both are disconnected from all BLUTOOTH devices. Press one after
another on the <M> button on both loudspeakers. You hear a short beep if the TWS function is
activated. If both loudspeakers are connected to each other the signal ton sounds from the other
loudspeaker as well.
Open the BLUTOOTH menu on your terminal device and pair it with the main loudspeaker as
described above. Now you can use both loudspeakers simultaneously.
After the initial paring of the two loudspeakers they are automatically connected to each other in the
future.
