NOTE! The ArcValidator's serial number must be entered during the initial setup of the PC
software. More guidance for the use of the PC software is provided within the software.
DataStick is used as a storage for the validation data, as well as for transferring the data from the
ArcValidator RC to a computer for report creation and for transferring equipment proles from
the PC to the RC.
For a successful validation, always follow the ArcValidator RC's on-screen guidance.
In manual validation of MIG/MAG/TIG processes, a welding gun must be connected to the
equipment in order to start the power source. Refer to the welding equipment instructions.
Important notes
– Read this guide and the Safety Instructions before use. Refer also to the welding equipment's
instructions for operating the equipment before and during validation.
If a wire feeder is connected, make sure the wire isn't fed during the current and voltage
measurements.

Kemppi ArcValidator systemet er beregnet til validering af nøjagtigheden på udstyr til
lysbuesvejsning. I vejledt manuel tilstand er det kompatibelt med langt størstedelen af
svejseudstyr med absolutte enhedsmålere. DIX forbindelser anvendes som standard.
På et udvalg af Kemppi FastMig (og Kemparc) udstyr kan der vælges en automatisk
valideringstilstand. FastMig's styringsforbindelse anvendes så til at betjene udstyret.
Brugeren kan vælge mellem standard- og præcisionsvalidering. Sammenlignet med standard er
præcisionsgraden til validering endnu mere nøjagtig.
Klargøring
Modeloplysningerne skal indtastes på en computer til ArcValidator systemet forud for
valideringen.
Valideringsdataene kan overføres og en rapport kompileres ved at forbinde ArcValidator
DataStick'en til en computer. Et dedikeret ArcValidator program til rapportering skal installeres,
når den første gang forbindes til en computer. Microsoft Windows operativsystemet og en
internetforbindelse er nødvendig.
BEMÆRK! Microsoft.Net Framework 4 eller nyere skal installeres på computeren før installation af

1. Forbind ArcValidator DataStick'en med computerens USB port.
2. Åbn rodmappen på DataStick og dobbeltklik på linket til download (l).
3. Kør det downloadede installationsprogram, og følg vejledningen på skærmen.

Kemppi ArcValidator system is for validating arc welding equipment accuracy. In the guided
manual mode it is compatible with the vast majority of welding equipment with absolute unit
meters. DIX connections are used as standard.
With a range of Kemppi FastMig (and Kemparc) equipment, an automatic validation mode is
available. FastMig's control connection is then used to operate the equipment.
The user can choose between standard and precision validation. Compared to standard, the
precision grade is for validating with even higher level of accuracy.
Preparations
The equipment information needs to be entered on a computer to the ArcValidator system prior
to the validation event.
The validation data can be transferred and a report compiled by connecting the ArcValidator
DataStick to a computer. A dedicated ArcValidator software for reporting must be installed when
connected to a computer for the rst time. Microsoft Windows operating system and an internet
connection are required.
NOTE! Microsoft.Net Framework 4 or newer has to be installed on the computer before installing
the ArcValidator software.
1. Connect the ArcValidator DataStick to the computer's USB connection.
2. Open the root folder of the DataStick and double-click the download link (le).
3. Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
