3.3.3. Controle van de MMA-laskarakteristiek (alleen minilog- en pulspaneel)
Duw op de “DYNAMICS”-toets en in hte display verschijnt een numerieke waarde, die overeenstemt
met de dynamiek. Deze instelling kan veranderd worden door aan de grote stroomknop te draaien. Als
de instelling “0” is, staat de normale dynamiek voor alle MMA-elektroden. Als de waarde negatief is
(-9...-1), beschikt U over een zachte boog. Dit houdt in dat de lasspatten sterk gereduceerd worden bij
het lassen met de maximale stroombelasting van de elektrode. Indien U een positieve waarde heeft
ingesteld (+1...+9) beschikt U over een harde boog, wat inhoud dat U met bv een dunne RVS-ele-
ktrode tegen de minimale stroombelastbaarheid kan lassen en toch een goede inbranding kan hebben.
3.4. TIG-LASSEN
3.4.1. Selectie van TIG-lassen en stroomsoort
Duw op de keuzetoets naast de door U gewenste TIG-onts-
teekmethode: hoogfrequentontsteking (TIG HF) of lift arc-
ontsteking (TIG CONTACT) en het signaallampje ernaast zal
aanduiden wat U gekozen heeft. U kan de stroomsoort kiezen
door nogmaals op deze toets te drukken. INdien U wenst te
lassen met DC
+
, druk dan beide toetsen gelijktijdig in.
Gebruik lift arc-ontsteking indien U last in een omgeving met gevoelige elektronische
apparatuur. De ontsteekvonk kan interferentie veroorzaken bij deze gevoelige appa-
ratuur.
De boog wordt ontstoken met een hoge frequntie en hog spanning, zonder dat de elktrode het werks-
tuk aanraakt. Indien de boog binnen één seconde niet ontsoken is, moet het starten herhaald worden
door nogmaals op de toortsschakelaar te drukken. In sommige gevallenkan de ontsteking beter
verlopen indien het werkstuk met het gasmondstuk wordt aangeraakt alvorens te starten.
3.4.3. Lift arc-ontsteking
Maak licht contact met de elektrode tegen het werkstuk (1). Druk op de toortsschakelaar en het
beschermgas zal gaan stromen en een lage stroom zal gaan vloeien door de elektrode. Verbreek
het contact tussen de elektrode en het werkstuk door de toorts lichtjes te kantelen, maar het con-
tact tussen gasmondstuk en werkstuk blijft wel behouden. (2, 3). De boog zal ontsteken en de
stroomzal doorstijgen naar de ingestelde lasstroom (eventueel via een ingestelde upslope-tijd)
