HOW TO COOK RICE
Use the following as a GUIDE only as you may change the amount of water to suit
your personal taste:
Type:
1. Measure the amount of rice needed with the measuring cup provided.
2. Put the washed rice into the inner pot and add appropriate quanty of water ac-
cording to the guide given. Then, dry the outer surface of inner pot with a clean cloth.
3. Close the lid properly. Plug the cord set to the electrical outlet.
Turn on the power supply.
4. Press the MENU buon to select the rice type and cooking mode.
The triangle indicator on the LCD display will point to your selecon.
5. Press and hold the COOKING Buon for 2 seconds. The COOK indicator (red) will
light up and your cooker will start cooking.
6. Once the rice is cooked, the Rice Cooker will automacally switch over to the
KEEP WARM mode. The KEEP WARM indicator (green) will light up.
7. For best taste results, it is recommended to let the rice keep warm for about
15 minutes before opening the lid for serving.
HOW TO COOK PORRIDGE
1. Amount of water to be added is 6 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice.

2. Press the MENU buon unl the triangle indicator on the LCD points to
PORRIDGE mode.
3. Press and hold the COOKING buon for about two seconds. Once the red indi-
cator is lit, the porridge will start cooking.
4. The green indicator will blink once the porridge cooking is completed. The por-
ridge funcon will not switch to Keep Warm mode as to prevent boom poron of
porridge from become thick and scky.
5. The cooking me for porridge is about 1 hour.
6. For best result, allow the porridge to be stewed for about 15 minutes before
serving.
7. Do not add water more than the suggested level. It will damage the Smart Cooker.
White Rice
1 cup rice 1 cup of water
Glunous Rice
1 cup rice 0.8 cup of water
Brown Rice
1 cup rice 1.5 cups of water
Porridge
1 cup rice 6 cups of water
Rice 0,5 cups 1 cup
Water 3 cups 6 cups
