und Bootsbau und entwickelter,
standfester einkomponentiger Po-
lyurethan-Dichtstoff, der mit Luft-
feuchtigkeit zu einem Elastomer
aushärtet.

tionalen Maritimen Organisation
(IMO).

stellung von elastischen und vibra-
tionsbeständigen Dichtfugen im In-
nen- und Außenbereich. Sikaflex
®

291i verfügt über ein großes Haft-
vermögen auf den wesentlichen,
im Schiffbau verwendeten Materia-
len. Geeignete Untergründe sind
Holz, Metalle, Grundierungen und
Lackierungen (2-K-Systeme), kera-
mische Materialien, Kunststoffe
(UP-GFK etc.).

-291i darf nicht zur Ab-
dichtung von spannungsrissgefähr-
deten Kunststoffen (wie PMMA,
PC etc.) verwendet werden. Die-
ses Produkt ist nur für erfahrene
Anwender geeignet. Um Haftung
und Materialverträglichkeit zu klä-
ren, werden Vorversuche mit Ori-
ginal-Substraten unten der jeweili-
gen Fertigungsbedingungen
empfohlen.

Application Range

291i is a product widely use
in shipbuilding and boatbuilding
for creatingresilient and vibration-re-
sistant sealing joints ininternal and ex-
ternal areas. Sika ex
®
291i has strong
bonding properties to the principal
materials used in shipbuilding. Suit-
able substrates include wood, metals,
primed and paint surfaces (2-compo-
nent system), ceramic materials, plas-
tics (UP-GRPs etc.).
Sika ex
®
291i should not be used for
sealing plastics liable to crackunder
stress (such as PMMA, PC etc). This
product is suitable only for use by ex-
perienced persons. In order to check
the bonding and materialcompatibil-
ity, preliminary trials with original sub-
strates under actual production condi-
tions are recommended.
