repeat steps 1 - 5 to set ALARM 2. Once you have nished all settings of ALARM 2 nish
the alarm setting by pressing the ALARM 1-2 ON-OFF button again. The unit will switch
back to time display.
Activating/Deactivating an Alarm
After you completed the alarm settings, you will need to activate the alarm(s). Do so by repeat-
edly pressing the ALARM 1-2 ON-OFF button during clock display (radio is off):
1. First press: ALARM 1 is active (Alarm 1 Indicator will light up).
2. Second press: ALARM 2 is active (Alarm 2 Indicator will light up).
3. Third press: Both ALARM 1 & 2 are active (Alarm 1 & 2 Indicators will both light up).
4. Fourth press: Both alarms are deactivated and will not sound (Alarm 1 & 2 Indicators will
disappear).
Stopping an Alarm
To stop an active alarm (the resp. Alarm Indicator will be ashing), either press the ALARM 1-2
ON-OFF button or the RADIO / SLEEP button once. The alarm will stop and come back on
again at the set time (except if you selected “1-1” for alarm interval).
Snooze Function
The snooze function allows you to delay an active alarm for 5 - 60 minutes (the snooze duration
is set in the time/date setting; see above). To do so, press the
SNOOZE / DIMMER but-
ton once while the alarm is active. The alarm will stop and come on again after the set duration.
To cancel this function, press the ALARM 1-2 ON-OFF button once.
Note: If your second alarm activates while the rst alarm is sounding or is in snooze mode, the
second alarm overrides the rst alarm (the rst alarm is reset to come on the next day).
Dimmer
The display brightness can be adjusted as follows:
• While in clock display mode press the
SNOOZE / DIMMER button to select
between HI (high) and LO (low/continuously adjustable) brightness modes.
• When LO mode is selected you can then adjust the brightness freely by rotating the
Brightness Control Wheel on the right side of the unit.
Turn the wheel downwards to decrease the brightness, or upwards to increase the
brightness.
• In HI mode the brightness is xed.
Example: When you adjusted the brightness to a low level in LO mode, you can quickly switch
the bright HI setting and the low LO setting by pressing the
SNOOZE / DIMMER button
repeatedly.
Radio
Listening to the Radio
• Press the RADIO / SLEEP button to switch on the radio.
• Select a desired radio station by pressing the ▲ UP or ▼ DOWN button repeatedly.
• To automatically search for the next available radio station, press and hold for 2 seconds
the ▲ UP or ▼ DOWN button.
• To adjust the volume, press the VOL button once and then the ▲ UP button to increase
