FM Radio
1. Switch the unit on as described previously.
2. Select the FM mode by pressing the Source button repeatedly. The frequency will be shown
in the display.
3. Select a desired radio station by pressing the TUNE+ or TUNE- button repeatedly.
4. To automatically search for the next available radio station, press and hold for 2 seconds the
TUNE+ or TUNE- button.
5. Stereo/Mono mode is available for FM radio stations.
In stereo mode you will see “ST” in the display below the frequency. If there is no “ST” indication
in the display below the frequency then the radio is mono mode. For better reception you can
force mono mode (see section “FM Menu”).
FM Menu
Press the MENU button while in FM mode to enter the FM menu. Inside the menu you can select be-
tween the following menu items and functions by pressing the TUNE+/TUNE- buttons (to enter menu
items and to conrm a selection, press the Play/Pause button; to exit menu items and the menu
press the MENU button):

Scan Select the scan sensitivity: DX has a strong sensitivity which will also scan for sta-
tions with weak signal, whereas LOCAL has a weak sensitivity and will only scan for
stations with strong signal.
Audio Manually select between stereo and mono mode. In areas with weak signal, the
broadcast quality may be improved by selecting mono mode.
System View software version and reset the unit.
Manually Store Radio Stations
This unit enables you to store up to 40 radio stations:
1. Tune to a radio station which you would like to store.
2. Press and hold for 2 seconds the PROG button. The display will show “EMPTY 1”.
3. Select a desired preset (1 - 40) on which you want to store the current frequency by pressing the
TUNE+ or TUNE- button.
4. Press the
Play/Pause button to conrm your setting. “STORED” will be shown in the display.
5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to store up to 40 frequencies.
6. To recall a stored frequency, press the / buttons until you reach the desired preset. Alterna-
tively you can press the PROG button, select the desired preset using the TUNE+/- buttons and
playing the selected preset by pressing the Play/Pause button.
Automatically Store Radio Stations
Rather than manually storing stations, you can also let the unit automatically store found stations:
1. While in FM mode press the AUTO button.
2. The unit will now scan and consecutively store found stations (up to 40).
Once nished, the unit will play the station which was rst available.
3. To recall a stored frequency, press the / buttons until you reach the desired preset. Alterna-
tively you can press the PROG button, select the desired preset using the TUNE+/- buttons and
playing the selected preset by pressing the Play/Pause button.
Note: The auto-store overwrites any stations that were stored manually.
RDS (Radio Data System)
This product is equipped with an RDS decoder. RDS allows text information to be transmitted by a ra-
dio station together with the audio broadcast. This text information can include name of the radio sta-
tion, name of the current program or song, news headlines, etc. and may vary from station to station.
To view RDS info press the INFO button repeatedly.
