In iPhone/iPod mode:
1. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER (only in iPod ) button once to start the iPhone/iPod playback.
Adjust the volume control by turning the VOLUME HIGH/LOW knob. To stop the current playing,
press the STOP/MENU (only in iPod) button once.
2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER (only in iPod) button once to pause the current track. To resume
the playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER (only in iPod) button once again.
3. To skip forward or backward, press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button to select the
desired track.
4. Press the REPEAT or RANDOM button on the remote control to activate either repeat or random
playback.
Notes:
iPod touch version 1.1.4 or above can support REPEAT or RANDOM function.
When the iPod touch & iPhone screen has been locked, above operations are still available.
In iPhone/iPod MENU mode:
You can navigate your iPod‘s menu with the remote control.
Note: iPod touch & iPhone need to be set manually into music menu rst in order to use this function.
1. In iPod mode press the iPod/MEM/CLOCK-ADJ. button once. The display
will show the iPOD MENU indicator (F23).
2. You can now navigate your iPod‘s menu using the buttons of the remote
control as follows:
a. Press the STOP/MENU (only iPod) to get to the iPod main menu.
b. Select any of the menu options by pressing the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) buttons.
c. To open the the selected menu option press the PLAY/PAUSE/ENTER button (only iPod).
3. To return to the normal playback mode press the iPod/MEM/CLOCK-ADJ. button once again. The
display will sho IPOD and the above mentioned buttons are used again for playback options.
Charging the iPod battery through the main unit:
iPhone/iPod Player has a internal non-removable battery. The battery may need to be charged if
not used for a while.
You can charge the iPhone/iPod Player through the main unit automatically under the STANDBY
or POWER ON mode.
Notes:
It is not better to charge under the TUNER mode. It may interfere the reception.
In any time, you can control the iPhone/iPod player on the main unit, remote control or iPod
player itself while the unit in the “iPod” or “iPod MENU” mode.
In any time, the iPod player must be xed well under the STANDBY mode to avoid the unit and
iPhone/iPod player getting damaged.
Charging of the battery takes longer when the music player of the iPod/iPhone is active.
AUX PLAY
1. Press the FUNCTION button until the “AUX” indicator light on the display. This unit can input
analog audio through the AUX IN jack on the left hand side of the unit.
2. Use a cable with RCA jack to connect external audio source.
Note: Aux In cable not included.
TO SET SLEEP FUNCTION (on the remote control)
1. If you want to fall asleep to music, press the SLEEP button .
2. You may select the TUNER, CD/MP3, USB, SD/MMC, iPod or AUX mode in sleep function to
play from 90, 80, 70 up to10 minutes of music before shutting itself off automatically.
