Radio Tuning
1. Press the STANDBY
button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the FUNC (function) button to select FM radio mode.
- If necessary, you can press the ST/MONO button to select FM stereo or mono radio receiving,
where the display will show “
” and “without stereo symbol” respectively.
3. To manually tune to a desired station, repeatedly press the TUN +/-
/ button.
4. To automatically search for stations with strong signals, press and hold the TUN +/- / but-
ton until the frequency digits on display begins to scan then release the button. The tuner will stop
on the rst strong signal it nds.
Notes:
Manual tune to select weaker stations that might be skipped during automatic tuning.
If the automatic tuning does not stop on the exact frequency of the station, for example, it stops
on 88.9 MHz instead of 88.8 MHz, use the manual tuning method to “ne tune” to the exact
frequency of the desired station.
Radio Preset Stations
The unit allows you to store up to 10 FM stations for easy recall at any time.
Preset Stations
1. Press the STANDBY
button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the FUNC button to select radio mode.
3. Tune to the radio station you want to store in memory by using the TUN +/- / button.
4. Press the MEM button. The preset channel number appears on display and blink.
5. To select desired preset station number, press the CH +/- button.
6. To conrm preset location, press the MEM button.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to store other stations, if apply.
Notes:
There is a few seconds delay when programming, after this delay time, the unit will automatically
switch back to normal tuner mode.
You can overwrite a preset station by overwriting and storing the new frequency in its place.
Recalling Preset Station
1. Press the STANDBY
button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the FUNC button to select radio mode.
3. Press the CH +/- button to select the desired preset station and the frequency and “MEM” indica-
tor will appear on display.
Listening to CD Music
The CD player can playback CD/CD-R/CD-RW disc with Audio CD format (MP3 discs cannot be
played).
CD Playback
1. Press the STANDBY
button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the FUNC button to select CD mode.
3. Press the OPEN / CLOSE button to open the CD door.
4. Press a CD into the spindle with printed side facing out.
5. Press the OPEN / CLOSE button again to close the CD door.
The player reads the CD content automatically and shows total number of track(s) on display.
6. The player starts music playback automatically.
The current playback track number shows on display.
7. Adjust the volume level by pressing the VOL + / - button.
8. To skip to a desired CD track, press the / button.
9. To fast-rewind or fast-forward within the track playing, press and hold the or button.
