Condensation:
• Condensation may occur when moving the device from a cold to a warm environment. If there is
moisture inside the player, it may not operate properly. Don’t turn on the device and wait about
one hour for the moisture to evaporate.
Saving energy
• If the unit is not used for a long period of time, it should be unplugged from the AC socket
Unpacking:
• Take out carefully the unit from the packing. Please keep the packing for further use.
• Carefully remove possible protection cardboards and slipcovers.
Installation
For Clock and Radio memory battery back-up
A backup battery compartment located at rear of the unit.
1. Open the battery compartment lid.
2. Follow the polarity diagram shown inside the compartment and install 2x AAA (UM-4) batteries
(not included).
3. Close the clock battery compartment lid.
AC/DC Adaptor Connection
The unit can be powered by an external AC/DC adaptor:
1. Connect the adaptor’s DC output plug to the DC-in jack of the unit.
2. Firmly and securely plug the supplied adaptor’s AC plug into AC main outlet. Make sure that the
main outlet’s output power matches the required power of the adaptor.
Notes:
• If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery and disconnect it
from the power.
• Only use the supplied AC/DC adaptor.
Remote Control Holder Mounting option:
The unit comes with a Remote Control holder.
You may mount it onto the main unit, if apply.
Insert the Remote Control (RC) holder into the RC holder mounting holes located at the right hand
side (front view) of the main unit, see following diagrams.
