10. Music Player
The Music Player lets you stream music from your computer on a local network or from USB. Select
Music Player mode if it isn’t already selected.
Music Player Menu
While in Music Player mode you can enter the Music Player menu
by pressing and holding for 2 seconds the MENU/INFO button on
the remote control or on the unit.
Navigate through the menu using the arrow buttons on the remote
control or the NAVIGATE control knob on the unit. Press the OK
button or the ► button to enter submenus or conrm selections.
Press the ◄ button or the MENU button to return to the previous
menu.
Shared media Enter the shared media menu.
USB playback Select to play music from a USB device.
My playlist View your playlist.
Repeat play On - Repeats the current track.
O󰀨 - Repeat play function is o󰀨.
Shu󰀪e play On - All tracks are played in random order.
O󰀨 - Shu󰀪e play function is o󰀨.
Clear My playlist Select to clear your playlist.
Prune servers Select to prune servers.
System Settings See chapter 15. System Settings Menu.
Main Menu Go to the main menu.

AAC/AAC+ up to 96 kHz, 24 bit

Note:
The above table summarizes the maximum supported bit-rates for the various audio formats sup-
ported by the device.
Shared Media
It you have set up shared media, an entry consisting of <computer name>: <Shared media name> will
be displayed. If you have more than one computer sharing media, the alternatives are listed. Select
the shared media that you want to play.
The menus are now generated from the shared media server.
The rst menu shows a list of media types, for example Music, Video, Pictures and Playlists. The
device can only play music and playlists.
A search function is available to nd tracks in a similar way to Internet radio search.
For Music, there are numerous ways of selecting tracks including Genre, Artist, Album, Composer and
Rating.
Press OK to play your desired track. A short press will play the track immediately.
