Rinse the HEPA filter , the nylon filters  and the one around the HEPA filter with water
as shown in fig. 3 page 7. If necessary, you may use a smooth brush. Carefully dry the filters.
Never put them in a dishwasher or dry them with a hair dryer.
To put back the filters, do it the opposite way. Please pay attention to the A and B
mark on both filters and cover, in order to put the filters at the correct place on the cover.
Motor filter
To clean the motor filter (filter situated on top of the motor).
To remove the motor filter: switch off the appliance, remove the dust container and remove
the filter to wash it in soapsuds (approximately every 3 months). When it is completely dry, put it
back in the appliance and replace the dust container.
Cleaning of the exhaust HEPA air filter
The air filter is situated behind the grid on the side of the appliance opposite to the power cord
and guarantees fresh air when vacuum cleaning. This filter should be cleaned approximately
three times a year.
Unplug the appliance, open the grid and remove the filter. Clean it with a soft brush or by
using running, lukewarm water as shown in fig. 5 page 7.
Give the HEPA filter enough time to dry out completely, then put it back in the appliance with
the plastic grid downwards and close the grid.
NOTE: After a certain number of cleanings, the filters will be damaged or impossible to get
back in their initial shape. In such case, please contact the nearest customer service to obtain
new filters.
Cleaning of the dust container
Clean the dust container with a wet towel or a non- abrasive sponge. Make sure it is fully dry
before putting it back into the appliance.
PRACTICAL HINTS
The floor brush is equipped with a hook, allowing you to attach the tube to the rear part of
the appliance when it is in use, for instance when you want to move a piece of furniture or
after use when storing your appliance.
If you notice a loss of suction power, it is probably due to one or a combination of the
following events: blocked filter, full or punctured bag or blockage in tubes. If your
appliance still does not work properly after you have checked those problems, please ask
a qualified electrician for advice.
