Power switches
Lower power switch = reduced power (800W)
Upper power switch = medium power (1200W)
Both power switches = full power (2000W)
= Turbo switch (fan)
Caution: the convector will not heat until you have put the thermostat on the desired position.
(thermostat setting see below)
To increase the hot air circulation, the fan may be used in addition to the heating function,
regardless of the heating level selected.
For easy recognition of the heating level selected at any time, the switches are equipped with
an indicator lamp. You can also use the turbo function without heating. In this case, fresh air
will be blown.
Once a switch has been pressed to start operation, the integral thermostat will switch the unit
on and off automatically to keep the temperature at a constant level.
Thermostat
Using the adjustable thermostat control, the unit can be preset to a specific temperature.
When the intended temperature is reached, the unit will automatically switch off. Once the
temperature has fallen below the pre-set level, the heater will switch on again.
Note: the metallic parts of this appliance become hot during use so if you need to move the
appliance during use, use the side handles.
After use, put the switches in off position, turn the thermostat to MIN and unplug the appliance.
OVERHEAT AND TIP-OVER PROTECTION
This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance
automatically in case of overheat, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids.
In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 10 minutes for it to cool and remove the
object that is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The
appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the
nearest customer service.
Your appliance is also fitted with a tip-over protection that disconnects your appliance
when it is tilted or tipped. If your appliance falls, switch it off, replace it correctly and
switch it on again.
CLEANING AND CARE
Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has
cooled down completely.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the heater with water and do not immerse
it. Clean the housing with a damp cloth.
If necessary, dust particles accumulated in the air outlet openings may be removed with a
vacuum cleaner. This maintenance should be done regularly to assure the good
operation of the appliance.
