IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

 Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.

 Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the

appliance.

 Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons.

 From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or

appliance shows any signs of damage but have it checked and repaired by a competent

qualified service

 Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

instructions.

 Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever.

care” because the water penetration through the openings can be very dangerous for

your appliance.

 Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

 Before cleaning and when you do not use the appliance, always unplug the appliance

from the power supply. Do not attempt to remove the plug from the wall socket with wet

hands.

 Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.

 Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute

a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

 Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in

any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

 Stand the appliance on a stable surface so that it cannot fall.

 Do not place the appliance under a power socket. The power socket must not be in the

hot airflow of the appliance in order to avoid overheating.

 Always position the heater in such a way that inflammable materials (such as curtains)

cannot be ignited. Ensure at all times that the unit is placed solidly on its base.

 The heater should only be operated at a minimum distance of 50cm from any wall or

other object and of 1 meter from combustibles.

 Make sure that the air inlet and outlet openings are not blocked. To avoid any risk of

fire, do not cover the heater (ex. With clothes)

 Warning: Do not operate the heater near baths, showers, washbasins, swimming pools or

any other water container. It must be impossible to reach the commands of your

appliance when you are in contact with water.

 The temperature of the grids may be very high when the appliance is in use. Avoid

contact with the skin.

 Never use the appliance near inflammable or explosive materials.

 Do not insert any objects through the grille or into the interior of the appliance.

POSITIONING OF THE APPLIANCE

The heater should only be operated at a minimum distance of 50cm from any wall or other

object. Position the air flow in order to optimise the heating of the room. Avoid corners, small

volumes, floors and ceilings.

When the appliance is switched on for the first time, a slight smell may be emitted. Please

ensure sufficient ventilation. This smell will disappear very quickly.

USE

 When the appliance is plugged in, the pilot light is on.

 Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF- fan button of the appliance. The

appliance starts operating in fan mode.

 Select the heat by means of the heating buttons I and II:

I = minimum heat (1000W)

I + II = maximum heat (2000W)

 Press the oscillation button to switch the oscillating movement on and off.

 To switch off the appliance, first put the heating buttons in off position and leave the fan

mode during 3 minutes so that the appliance cools down. Then press the “ON/OFF”

switch.

 Your appliance is fitted with two safety devices: the first one disconnects your appliance

when it is tilted or tipped. If your appliance falls, switch it off, replace it correctly and

switch it on again. The second safety device disconnects the appliance in case of

overheating by means of a thermo fuse. When serious overheat occurs, the overheat fuse

will automatically break and cut the power, which can prevent the devices from damage

and avoid fires. If this overheat fuse breaks, it should be replaced by a competent

qualified service.

 In case your appliance does not work when you switch it on, check that it is correctly

placed and that the safety device is not blocked.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

 Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has

cooled down completely.

 The housing may be wiped with a slightly damp, lint-fee cloth; do not use any abrasive

scouring pad or steel wool.

 The grids are particularly delicate; to clean them you can carefully use a vacuum cleaner.

 When you do not use the appliance, you can cover and place it in a dry environment.

PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT– DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC

In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and

electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the

implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the

rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted

municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing

waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with

the directive.



CONSEJOS DE SEGURIDAD

 Lea detenidamente el modo de empleo antes de la utilización de su aparato

 Antes de utilizar el aparato, compruebe que el voltaje de la red eléctrica coincide con el

del aparato

 No deje nunca su aparato sin vigilancia cuando esté en marcha. No lo deje ni al alcance

de los niños ni al de personas no responsables.

 Compruebe de vez en cuando que el cable no esté dañado. No utilice su aparato sí el

cable o el aparato están dañados por el motivo que sea. Si el cable está dañado, debe

ser reemplazado por un servicio cualificado competente(). Cualquier reparación debe

ser realizada por un servicio técnico cualificado().

 Utilice el aparato solamente para usos domésticos y de la manera indicada en el modo

de empleo.

 No sumerja nunca el aparato en el agua o en cualquier otro líquido ni para su limpieza ni

por cualquier otra razón. Para la limpieza de su aparato, siga las instrucciones del manual

“Limpieza y mantenimiento” exclusivamente ya que la penetración de agua por las

rejillas de salida de aire puede averiar completamente su aparato.

 No utilice el aparato cerca de fuentes de calor.

 La clavija eléctrica debe ser desenchufada antes de limpiar el aparato o cuando no lo

utilice. No desenchufe nunca el aparato con las manos mojadas.

 Procure no utilizar el aparato en el exterior y colóquelo en un sitio seco.

 No utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante, ello puede entrañar un riesgo

para el usuario y puede dañar el aparato.

 No mueva nunca el aparato estirando del cable. Procure que el cable no se enganche

en algún saliente, a fin de evitar posibles caídas del mismo. Evite enrollar el cable

alrededor del aparato y no lo tuerza.

 Coloque el aparato sobre una mesa o soporte estable para evitar su caída.

 No coloque el aparato debajo de un enchufe o más bien, el enchufe non debe

encontrarse en el flujo de aire caliente a fin de evitar un recalentamiento del mismo.

 Coloque el aparato de forma que los materiales inflamables (tales como las cortinas) no

se encuentren en contacto con las partes calientes del aparato. Compruebe que los

orificios de salida y entrada de aire no estén obstruidos.

 Para evitar un recalentamiento, no cubra su aparato con ropa o cualquier otra

materia que podría impedir una buena salida de aire.

 Atención: no use el aparato cerca del baño, piscina u otro recipiente que contenga

líquidos para evitar cortacircuitos. Por lo general, no toque los mandos de su aparato si

sus manos están húmedas o si se encuentra en contacto con agua.

 La rejilla de salida del aire calienta durante el funcionamiento. Evite contactos directos

con la piel.

 No utilice el aparato en habitaciones con gas o productos inflamables.

 No deje que ningún objeto penetre por el sistema de ventilación.

persona cualificada, reconocida y habilitada a fin de evitar cualquier peligro. En cualquier

INSTALACIÓN

Tiene que prever una distancia mínima de 50 cm entre las paredes laterales del aparato y

cualquier obstáculo (muebles o paredes por ejemplo) que puedan interferir en su

funcionamiento. Oriente el flujo de aire de forma a optimar el calentamiento de la habitación.

Evite los rincones, suelos o techos.

La primera vez que se enchufe, su aparato puede desprender un ligero olor. Esto es normal

por lo que prevea una ventilación suficiente. Este olor será ocasional y desaparecerá

rápidamente.

UTILIZACIÓN

 Cuando el aparato está enchufado, el testigo luminoso de funcionamiento se enciende.

 Ponga el aparato y la ventilación en marcha con el interruptor "ON/OFF".

 Seleccione el grado de temperatura con los botones de calefacción.

I = calefacción mínima (1000 W)

I+II = calefacción máxima (2000 W)

 Pulse el botón de oscilación para poner en marcha o parar la oscilación del aparato.

 Para apagar el aparato, ponga primero los botones de calefacción en la posición OFF y

espere durante 3 minutos para que se enfríe. Entonces pulse el interruptor "ON/OFF”.

 El aparato tiene 2 mecanismos de seguridad: el primer desconecta su aparato cuando se

vuelque. Si el aparato se vuelca, apáguelo, colóquelo correctamente y póngalo de

nuevo en marcha. El segundo dispositivo es un seguro contra recalentamientos que

desconecta el aparato en caso de recalentamiento importante. Cuando ello ocurra, el

fusible se rompe y corta la corriente eléctrica, para evitar daños e incendios. El fusible

debe reemplazarse por un servicio técnico cualificado.

 Si el aparato no se enciende, verifique la base de apoyo y asegúrese de que el

dispositivo de seguridad no esté bloqueado.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

 Antes de limpiar el aparato, asegurase de que está desconectado.

 El alojador debería limpiarse con un trapo ligeramente húmedo, no use ningún líquido

corrosivo.

 Las rejillas son particularmente delicadas, puede utilizar cuidadosamente un aspirador.

 Cuando no utilice el aparato cúbralo y colóquelo en un ambiente seco.

PROTECCIÓN DEL MEDIO AMBIENTE –DIRECTIVA 2002/96/CE

Para poder preservar nuestro medio ambiente y proteger la salud humana, los residuos

eléctricos y equipos electrónicos deberían ser destruidos de acuerdo con unas normas

especificas con la implicación de ambos proveedores y consumidores. Por esta razón, como

indica el símbolo en la placa de datos técnicos, su aparato debería no ser destruido en

un contenedor municipal sino que debería ser devuelto a la tienda, o dejarlo en un punto de

recolección para que se pueda reciclar que significa que pueda volver a ser usado,

reciclando o para otras aplicaciones.



PENSANDO NA VOSSA SEGURANÇA

 Antes de utilizar o aparelho leia com sentido de responsabilidade as instruções de

funcionamento.

 Antes de ligar o aparelho à tomada que permite o acesso à corrente eléctrica certifique-

se que é igual á do aparelho.

 O aparelho quando em funcionamento não pode ser abandonado e muito menos

quando se tem crianças ou pessoas que necessitem de ser vigidas.

 Verifique regularmente se o aparelho apresenta anomalias. Se estiver danificado, deve

ser reparado por um servicio técnico habilitado (*). Se o cabo se encontrar danificado,

tem de ser substituído por técnicos habilitados (*).

 O aparelho destina-se ao uso domestico e tem de respeitar as instruções de utilização.

 O aparelho nunca deve ser mergulhado em água ou em outros líquidos. Na limpeza,

conforme-se com as instruções do parágrafo “Limpeza e manutenção” porque se água

entrasse pelas grelhas de saída do ar, o aparelho poderia ser danificado.

 Não ponha o aparelho próximo de fontes de calor.

 Sempre que o aparelho esteja fora de uso ou necessite de ser limpo,tem de ter o cabo

de alimentação desligado da tomada fornecedora da energia eléctrica. Nunca desligue

o aparelho com as mãos molhadas.

 O aparelho não deve ser utilizado fora de casa e deve ser guardado em locais secos.

 Use sempre acessórios recomendados pelo fabricante para evitar avarias no aparelho ou

acidentes.

 Não retire o cabo de alimentação da tomada puxando pelo mesmo pois danifica o

aparelho e pode provocar a queda do aparelho. Verifique se o cabo não se encontra

preso em alguma coisa. Nunca enrole o cabo à volta do aparelho e não o torça.

 Pouse sempre o aparelho numa superfície estável para evitar a queda deste.

 Nunca coloque o aparelho em baixo de uma tomada de corrente, ou seja, a tomada

tem que não se encontrar no fluxo de ar quente para evitar que o sobreaquecimento

dessa.

 Coloque sempre o aparelho para que as partes quentes sejam afastadas de matérias

inflamáveis (tais como sejam os cortinados). Assegure-se sempre que os orifícios de

entrada ou saída de ar não sejam entupidos.

 Para evitar o sobreaquecimento, nunca cubra o aparelho com roupa ou matérias

que podiam impedir à boa saída do ar.

 Attenção: O aparelho não pode ser instalado próximamente à banheira, chuveiro, pia,

piscina ou outros tipos de recipientes contendo líquidos com fim de evitar curto-circuito.

Nunca toque nos comandos do aparelho após ter mexido em água.

 A grelha da saída do ar aquece durante o funcionamento. Evite contactos directos com

a pele.

 Não opere o calorífico próximo a qualquer material inflamável ou explosivo.

 Não insira nenhum objecto nas grelhas ou no interior do aparelho.

INSTALAÇÃO

Mantenha uma distância mínima de 50 cm entre as paredes laterais do aparelho e os

restantes obstáculos(móveis ou paredes),para obter o seu bom funcionamento.O fluxo do ar

deve estar livre para optimizar o aquecimento do local onde se encontra instalado o

aparelho. Evite a instalação em cantos, areas reduzidas,chão ou tectos).

Na primeira utilização o aparelho pode originar cheiros que tem a ver com o facto de o

aparelho ser novo pelo que aconselhamos que a área de instalação se encontre bem

ventilada.

UTILIZAÇÃO

 Assim que se ligar o cabo da alimentação à tomada, o sinalizador acende-se.

 Pressione o botão ligar/desligar “ON/OFF” no aparelho. O aparelho começa operar em

modo de ventilador.

 A escolha da temperatura faz-se através dos botões de aquecimento.

I = aquecimento mínimo (1000 W)

I+II = aquecimento maximo (2000 W)

 Para activar o desactivar a função de oscilação do aparelho, pressione o botão de

oscilação.

 Para desligar o aparelho pressione primeiro põe os botões de aquecimento em posição

desligada e deixa o ventilador 3 minutos para que o aparelho arrefeça. Depois pressione

o botão”ON/OFF”.

O aparelho tem incorporado um sistema de segurança que desliga a corrente em

determinadas situações como a de queda. Nestes casos retire o cabo de alimentação

da tomada. Coloque o aparelho direito. O segundo sistema de segurança desliga o

eletrodoméstico em caso de sobreaquecer. Quando se regista um sobreaquecimento o

termofusível de protecção faz desligar o aparelho evitando riscos de danos no aparelho

ou de focos de incêndio. Caso o termofusível se queime é necessário substituí-lo e para

tal tem de recorrer aos serviços técnicos especializados.

 Se o seu aparelho não funciona quando o liga, verifique se ele está bem posicionado no

chão e que nada o bloqueia.

MANUTENÇÃO E LIMPEZA

 Antes de limpar o aparelho retire o cabo de alimentação da tomada eléctrica.

 Use na limpeza um esfregão seco, não abrasivo e que não liberte residuos do mesmo.

 O pó das grelhas podem ser retiradas com a ajuda de um aspirador. O cabo de

alimentação tem de estar retirado da tomada elétrica e o aparelho frio.

 Quando deixar de usar o aparelho deve-o colocar na embalagem, em lugar seco e fora

do alcance das crianças e de pessoas que precisam de ser vigiadas.

PROTECÇÃO DO MEIO AMBIENTE – DIRECTIVA 2002/96/CE

Para a preservação do ambiente e da nossa saúde, a eliminação no fim da vida útil dos

aparelhos eléctricos e electrónicos, deve-se efectuar no cumprimento das legislações em

vigor e pela participação de todos quer sejam produtores ou utilizadores. É por esta razão

que o vosso aparelho tem na placa sinalética o simbolo , informando que em caso

algum o aparelho deve ser colocado no caixote do lixo camarário ou privado para que não

vá para as lixeiras comuns mas sim devolvido ao revendedor ou depositado nos locais

apropriados e identificados para a recolha destes aparelhos para que uma vez recolhidos

sejam reciclados, reutilizados ou lhe sejam dados outras aplicações.



AVVERTENZE

 Vi invitiamo a leggere attentamente queste istruzioni prima dell’uso dell’apparecchio.

 Prima di mettere in funzione l’apparecchio, controllare se la tensione è conforme a quella

dell’apparecchio.

 Non lasciare l’apparecchio senza sorveglianza quando è sotto tensione. Non lasciare

l’apparecchio alla portata di bambini o persone irresponsabili.

 Verificare regolarmente che il cavo non sia danneggiato. Non attivare l’apparecchio se il

cavo o l’apparecchio stesso mostrasse qualsiasi danneggiamento. Le riparazioni devono

essere eseguite da un servizio qualificato

istruzioni del paragrafo “Pulizia e manutenzione” perché la penetrazione d’acqua dalle

griglie di uscita d’aria potrebbe danneggiare l’apparecchio.

 Non usare l’apparecchio nella prossimità di sorgenti di calore.

 Sempre staccare spina dalla presa di corrente prima di pulire l’apparecchio o quando

non sta funzionando. Non staccare mai la spina con le mani bagnate.

 Non usare l’apparecchio all'aperto e sistemarlo in un posto asciutto.

 Non utilizzare accessori non consigliati dal fabbricante. Può essere pericoloso per l’utente

e danneggiare l’apparecchio.

 Non tirare il cavo per spostare l’apparecchio. Assicurarsi che il cavo elettrico non possa

impigliarsi per evitare una caduta dell’apparecchio. Non avvolgere il cavo intorno

all’apparecchio e non storcerlo.

 Non usare l’apparecchio per altre applicazioni che quelle per cui è stato previsto.

Decliniamo ogni responsabilità per danni dovuti ad un uso errato o al non rispetto delle

istruzioni.

 Sistemare l’apparecchio su un tavolo o una superficie abbastanza stabile da evitare che

cada.

 Il vostro apparecchio non deve essere posto sotto una presa di corrente, cioè la presa di

corrente non si deve trovare nel flusso d’aria calda per evitare il surriscaldamento di

questa.

 Posizionare la stufa in modo che le parti calde si trovino lontane da materiali infiammabili

(come tende per esempio). Assicurarsi che gli orifizi di entrata e uscita d’aria non siano

ostruiti.

 L’apparecchio deve essere sistemato ad al meno 1 metro da combustibili, tende, mobili,

ecc., e al meno 50 cm da altri oggetti.

 Per evitare il surriscaldamento, non coprire mai l’apparecchio con tessuti o qualsiasi

altra materia che potrebbe ostacolare la corretta fuoriuscita dell’aria.

 Attenzione: non usare mai l’apparecchio vicino a bagno, doccia, lavabo, piscina o altri

serbatoi d’acqua. Più generalmente, non deve essere possibile accedere ai comandi

dell’apparecchio quando si è in contatto con acqua.

 Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in stanze in cui ci sono gas o materie infiammabili.

 Non inserire nessun oggetto attraverso la griglia o all’interno dell’apparecchio.

 Non utilizzare l’apparecchio con un dispositivo di comando termico, programmatore,

interruttore cronometrico o qualunque altro dispositivo che lo metta in moto

Servizio qualificato: servizio assistenza del fabbricante o dell’importatore, o persona

qualificata, riconosciuta ed autorizzata ad effettuare riparazioni, per evitare ogni pericolo. In

ogni caso, restituire l’apparecchio a quel servizio.

SISTEMAZIONE DELL’APPARECCHIO

Una distanza minima di 50 cm deve essere prevista tra le pareti laterali dell’apparecchio e

qualsiasi ostacolo (mobile o muro per esempio) che potrebbe impedirne il buon

funzionamento. Orientare il flusso d’aria in modo da ottimizzare il riscaldamento della stanza.

Evitare gli angoli, volumi ridotti, pavimenti o soffitti.

Al momento della prima messa in moto, l’apparecchio può emanare un leggero odore. È un

fenomeno normale, ma prevedere una ventilazione sufficiente. Quell’odore sarà provvisorio e

sfumerà rapidamente.

USO

 Quando si collega l’apparecchio, la spia luminosa si accende.

 Mettere l’apparecchio e il sistema di ventilazione in moto premendo l’interruttore ON/OFF.

 Selezionare la temperatura desiderata con i pulsanti di riscaldamento.

I = riscaldamento minimo (1000 W)

I+II = riscaldamento massimo (2000 W)

 Premere il pulsante di oscillazione per attivare o disattivare la funzione di oscillazione.

 Per spegnere l’apparecchio, mettere i pulsanti di riscaldamento in posizione OFF e

aspettare durante 3 minuti che si raffreddi. Poi premere l’interruttore ON/OFF.

 L’apparecchio è provvisto di 2 sistemi di sicurezza. Il primo spegne l’apparecchio quando

si rovescia. Se l’apparecchio si rovescia, spegnerlo, risistemarlo correttamente e

riaccenderlo. Il secondo sistema di sicurezza protegge l’apparecchio contro i

surriscaldamenti grazie a un termofusibile. Se l’apparecchio riscalda eccessivamente, il

termofusibile spegnerà automaticamente l’apparecchio, così si eviteranno danni degli

elementi e rischi di incendio. Se si scoglie questo termofusibile, dovrà essere sostituito da

un servizio qualificato.

 Se l’apparecchio non funziona quando viene messo in moto, verificare che sia ben

sistemato e che non ci sia nulla che blocchi il sistema di sicurezza.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

 Sempre staccare la spina dalla presa murale prima di pulire l’apparecchio.

 Si può usare un panno leggermente umido per pulire il corpo dell’apparecchio. Non usare

liquidi abrasivi.

 Si può usare un aspiratore per eliminare le particole di polvere accumulate nelle griglie.

 Quando non si usa l’apparecchio, coprirlo e conservarlo in un posto secco.

DIRETTIVA 2002/96/CE SULLO SMALTIMENTO DI APPARECCHI ELETTRICI ED ELETTRONICI

Per preservare l'ambiente e la nostra salute, l'eliminazione dei vecchi apparecchi elettrici e

elettronici non più utilizzati, va fatta secondo la direttiva sopra citata che impone l'obbligo al

costruttore, al commerciante e all’utilizzatore di consegnare gli apparecchi ai centri di

raccolta specializzati, i quali saranno in grado di smaltire e riciclare i vecchi prodotti come la

legge prescrive.



Per questa ragione troverete apposto sull’etichetta segnaletica il simbolo che indica di

non gettare il vecchio apparecchio non più utilizzato, in pattumiera o nel cassonetto delle

immondizie.

Per eliminare il vecchio apparecchio non più utilizzato, potete consegnarlo al rivenditore il

cambio di quello nuovo acquistato, o direttamente nei centri di raccolta specializzati messi a

disposizione dal vostro comune di residenza.


