intermittierend, was bedeutet, dass Brennholz
nachgelegt werden muss, wenn nur noch eine Lage Glut im Brennraum vorhanden ist.
Fehler beim Anzünden oder bei der Verbrennung sind häufig auf feuchtes Brennholz oder
unzureichenden Zug im Schornstein zurückzuführen.
Kontrollieren Sie daher, ob der Schornstein ganz
oder teilweise blockiert ist und ob die Vermiculit-Rauchumlenker korrekt montiert sind.
Im Falle des
Überhitzens oder bei einem Schornsteinbrand müssen die Luftzufuhr abgeriegelt und die Situation
überwacht werden.
Ein Schornsteinbrand darf nicht mit Wasser gelöscht werden, da dadurch sofort ein Wasserdampf entsteht
(Wasser verdampft im Verhältnis
1:1700), der aufgrund des schnellen Druckanstiegs schwere Schäden am
Schornstein verursachen kann.
