High-Speed Picture Search
Turn the ADVANCED JOG dial quickly to the right for forward
high-speed search, or to the left for reverse high-speed search.

Slow Motion
Turn the ADVANCED JOG
dial one click to the left for
forward slow motion. To play
in reverse slow motion,
continue to turn the
ADVANCED JOG dial to the
left after selecting all the
forward direction slow
motion modes.
OR Press PAUSE (

) to pause,
then press and hold PAUSE
(

) for more than 2 seconds,
then release for forward slow
motion. Press PAUSE (

) and
release again to return to still
picture.

Press PLAY (

) to resume normal playback.
NOTE:
During slow motion, some noise may appear on the TV screen.
Press CH+/– to eliminate the noise.
Variable-Speed Picture Search
Turn the ADVANCED JOG dial to the right for forward variable-
speed search, or to the left for reverse variable-speed search.

Press PLAY (

) to resume normal playback.
●
Each time the ADVANCED JOG dial passes a click position, the
playback speed changes. To decrease the speed during picture
search, turn the dial in the opposite direction.
During playback

2 seconds, simply releasing it cancels the picture search, and
normal playback resumes.

slow motion, or to the left for reverse slow motion. Release the
SHUTTLE ring to return to still picture.

the button, still picture resumes.

During still picture, holding PAUSE (

2 seconds also starts forward slow motion playback. If you

) again, still picture resumes.
