Setting Details
FOCUS ASSIST When this is set to “ON”, the focused subject is outlined in color for easier focusing.

When FOCUS ASSIST is enabled, the image becomes black and white, while the outline of the focused
object is displayed in the selected color. Change outline color if it becomes difficult to see.
FOCUS ASSIST COLOR For setting the color of the outline of the focused object when “FOCUS ASSIST” is used.

Select “MULTICOLOR”, “RED”, “GREEN”, or “BLUE”.
ZEBRA Diagonal lines (zebra pattern) are displayed only at areas with the specified luminance levels. You can use
this to check the bright areas (blowout) and adjust the brightness.
OFF: Deactivates the function.
70-80%: Sections that are close to be over-exposed are displayed in striped pattern.
OVER100%: Sections that are over-exposed are displayed in striped pattern.
GAMMA For adjusting the gamma curve that determines the gradation expression.
OFF: Deactivates the function.
STANDARD: shows a standard gamma curve.
CINEMA: Sets to a gamma curve with similar gradation to the screen characteristics of movies.
GAMMA LEVEL For adjusting the GAMMA LEVEL.

This item can be specified separately when “GAMMA” is set to “STANDARD” or “CINEMA”.

Tap ∧ or ∨, or turn the [ADJ.] knob to set the level (MIN (-5) - NORMAL (0) - MAX (+5)).
Increase value: enhances the gradation of black. However, the gradation of bright areas deteriorates.
Decrease value: enhances the gradation of bright areas. However, the gradation of black deteriorates.
COLOR MATRIX For setting the COLOR MATRIX.
OFF: turns off the COLOR MATRIX feature.
STANDARD: sets to the standardCOLOR MATRIX.
CINEMA VIVID COLOR: Sets to a vivid COLOR MATRIX that is similar to the screen characteristics of movies.
CINEMA SUBDUED COLOR: Sets to a subdued COLOR MATRIX that is similar to the screen characteristics
of movies.
BACKLIGHT COMP. Set this to “ON” to correct the subject that appears dark under backlight.
PRESET TEMP. For setting the basic color temperature during manual shooting when the [WHT.BAL.] switch is set to
[PRST(PRESET)].
3200K: sets the basic color temperature to3200K. (For use in a low color temperature environment, such as
under a halogen lamp.)
5200K: sets the basic color temperature to5200K. (For use in a high color temperature environment, such as
under sunlight.)
