Item Description
Items that are shaded ( ) are common to all modes.
Settings with the R mark are default values.
CAMERA SETTINGS
RESET ALL MENU A separate screen is displayed. (A Page 56)
Use this item to reset the menu and camcorder settings to their default values.
AUTO POWER OFF For selecting whether to turn off the power automatically when the camcorder is not operated for
more than 5 minutes.
R OFF : Power does not turn off automatically.
ON : Power turns off automatically.
OIS For selecting whether to use the image stabilizer feature.
OFF : Disables image stabilizer. Use this setting when the camcorder is secured, such as
when using a tripod.
R ON : Reduces blurring of images due to camera shake.
Memo :
Correction by this feature may not be sufficient when camera shake is too strong.
TALLY For selecting whether to turn on the tally lamp.
OFF : Turns off tally lamp.
R ON : Turns on tally lamp.
REMOTE For selecting whether to accept remote control operation.
OFF : Does not accept remote control operation.
R ON : Accepts remote control operation.
OPERATION SOUND For selecting whether to turn on the operation sound when the operation buttons on the camcorder
are pressed.
R OFF : Turns off operation sound.
ON : Turns on operation sound.
PRIORITY SETTING For selecting whether to show display on the LCD screen or viewfinder when both are turned on, or
to show display on the viewfinder at all times regardless of the setting.
R LCD MONITOR : Displays on the LCD screen only.
VIEWFINDER : Displays on the viewfinder only.
ALWAYS-ON VIEWFINDER : Displays on the viewfinder at all times.
