machine. Rinse it under hot running water and replace it after
drying it well.
13. De-scaling
The machine has an integrated de-scaling programme. The process
takes about 40 minutes.
If a Claris filter cartridge is used, your machine does not
need to be de-scaled.
If the machine needs de-scaling, the warning lamp lights
up. You can continue to draw off coffee or hot water and run
the de-scaling programme later.
Only use Jura cleaning tablets. They are available from your
Jura dealer.
Only de-scale the machine when it has been switched off for
at least 2 hours and has cooled down properly. The de-scal-
ing programme is started with the machine switched off.
Once it has started, the de-scaling process must not be inter-
rupted.
If you use descaling agents containing acid, immediately
remove any splashes and drips on sensitive work surfaces, in
particular natural rock and wooden surfaces, or take the cor-
responding precautionary measures.
In any case, wait until the descaling agent has been used up
and the tank is empty. Never top up with descaling agent.
Ⅲ Switch the machine off with the switch and let it cool down
for 2 hours.
