Setting the date
Pull the winder into position B. You can now set the date by turning
the winder to the right. You must not make any change to the date
between 8pm and 3am, as the movement is turning it forward auto-
matically during this time and any manual adjustment could damage
the switching mechanism. If the month has less than 31 days, set the
date manually to the first day of the following month.
4. Charge level display
To ensure that your Junghans solar watch is always ready for use, you
should avoid allowing its power reserves to run down.
The watch regularly checks the power store’s charge level. If it no
longer has adequate reserves, the second hand begins to move in 2-
second steps. If this happens, you should recharge the watch as soon
as possible.
5. Charging times
Charging times for your solar watch will vary depending on the inten-
sity of the light source. The times shown in the table below serve as a
rough guide. Please note: the design of the solar watch face may
make charging times longer.

Care is required when not wearing the watch and charging it in direct
sunlight. The temperature inside the watch may rise above the maxi-
mum permitted temperature of 50°C.
