8. Verlichting
De Junghans Mega Futura is met een displayverlichting uitgerust. Om
energieverlies door toevallige activering uit te sluiten, moet voor de acti-
vering van de verlichting de MODE-toets twee keer ingedrukt worden.
Nadat de MODE-toets voor de eerste keer ingedrukt is, gaat het display
naar de datumweergave. Wanneer de toets voor de tweede keer inge-
drukt wordt, gaat het display gedurende 3 seconden naar de horlogetijd.
Daarna gaat het display automatisch gedurende 2 seconden na de
datumweergave met datum, weekdag en kalenderweek. Wordt de
MODE-toets gedurende de tweede keer ingedrukt gehouden, dan gaat
het display gedurende 3 seconden naar de tijd en daarna automatisch
gedurende 2 seconden naar de datumweergave met datum, maand en
jaar.
9. Gebruiksklaar
Om te verzekeren dat uw horloge altijd
gebruiksklaar is, mag het horloge geen ener-
gieverlies vertonen. Het horloge controleert
regelmatig of er nog voldoende batterijener-
gie is. Mocht dit niet het geval zijn (lege bat-
terij of te geringe omgevingstemperatuur,
die het vermogen van de batterij beïnvloedt)
dan verschijnt in het LC-display een batterij-
symbool. Herstelt de batterij zich niet (bij-
voorbeeld door een betere omgevingstempe-
ratuur), dan moet u in de volgende weken de
batterij door uw vakhandelaar laten vervan-
gen of het horloge naar het Junghans Service
Center sturen.

Typische looptijd ongeveer 2 jaar.
Voor een vakkundige verwijdering van de batterij zorgen, in overeen-
stemming met de wettelijke voorschriften.
