How to play
Game 1. Place one of the picture boards on the table. The same picture appears twice so that
players on opposite sides of the table can clearly see the picture. Place the spinner so that all
the players can see it.
Decide how many points you will play for. In a 2-player game, 5 points is a good target to aim for.
If there are more players, aim to be the fi rst to 3 points. Have a piece of paper and a pen to hand
to keep track of the scores. Decide who will go fi rst. If that’s you, spin the spinner!
As soon as the spinner stops on a letter, players start searching the picture for something that
starts with that letter. When you fi nd something, point to it and shout it out.
Whoever is fi rst to do so, scores one point. Spin again and keep playing. The fi rst player to reach
the agreed points score wins the game!
Game 2. All the players take a piece of paper and a pencil. Decide on how long you will play
(for example, for three minutes). Choose one of the picture boards. One player keeps an eye on
the timer (it could be an egg timer, a sand timer or a stopwatch) and starts the timer as another
player spins the spinner. All players now write down as many items as they can fi nd that start
with the letter that was spun. When time is up, players take turns to read out what they wrote
down. If you wrote down an item that was on another player’s list as well, you score 1 point. If
you have something on your list that no one else spotted, you score 3 points!
Play in rounds: try three. Whoever has the most points after three rounds wins!
Game 3. Players split up into two teams. Make sure talents are evenly spread. Choose a picture
board and decide which team will go fi rst. Spin the spinner. Teams now take turns to call out an
item that starts with the letter that was spun. The fi rst team that cannot call out any more items
loses! First team to win three rounds wins the match!
