Ranking of poker hands
(Ranked from the weakest to the strongest hand)
1. High card
The highest card. In the event of a tie, the second highest card wins. In the event of a tie, the third
highest card wins, etc. The example shows an Ace High Card.
(Höchste Karte) Die höchste Karte. Bei mehreren „High Cards” gewinnt die zweithöchste Karte. Bei
einem Gleichstand gewinnt die dritthöchste Karte usw. Im Beispiel ist die „High Card” ein Ass.
(Carte haute) La plus haute carte. En cas d’égalité, c’est la deuxième carte la plus forte qui permet de
remporter la main. En cas d’égalité, c’est la troisième carte la plus forte qui permet de remporter la
main, etc. L’exemple ci-contre décrit une carte haute par l’as.
De hoogste kaart (‘High Card’). Bij gelijkspel wint de tweede hoogste kaart. Bij gelijkspel wint de derde
hoogste kaart enz. Het voorbeeld toont een ‘High Card’ Aas.
2. One pair
Any two cards of the same rank. The example shows a pair of nines. The highest pair wins. In the event
of a tie, the highest card outside the pair wins.
(Ein Paar)
Zwei Karten des gleichen Wertes. Das Beispiel zeigt ein Paar Neunen. Das höchste Paar
gewinnt. Bei mehreren Paaren gewinnt die höchste Karte neben dem Paar.
Paire (ou paire simple) Deux cartes de même rang. L’exemple ci-contre décrit une paire de 9. La plus
haute paire remporte la main. En cas d’égalité, c’est la carte la plus forte après la paire qui permet de
remporter la main.
Eén paar (‘Pair’) van kaarten met dezelfde waarde. Het voorbeeld toont een paar negens. Het hoogste
paar wint. Bij gelijkspel wint de hoogste kaart (‘High Card’) buiten dat paar.
3. Two pair
Any pair of cards of the same rank plus another pair of cards of the same rank. If two hands have the
same highest pair, the highest rank of the second pair wins. In case of a draw, the highest fi fth card wins.
