10.0 Driftsproblem –

Dåligt drag

• Kontrollera skorstenens längd och att den följer

landets lagar och förordningar. (Se även «2.0 Tekniska

data»och «3.0 Installation» (Skorsten och rökrör) i

installationsmanualen för mer information.)

• Se till att tvärsnittet för skorstenen följer minimikraven under

«2.0 Tekniska data» i installationsmanualen.

• Kontrollera att inget hindrar evakueringen av rökgaserna, t.ex.

grenar och träd.

• Anlita en fackman för mätning och justering om du misstänker

att det är för stort eller för litet drag i skorstenen.

Elden slocknar efter ett tag

• Kontrollera att veden är tillräckligt torr.

• Ta reda på om det är undertryck i huset, stäng av mekaniska

fläktar och öppna ett fönster nära eldstaden.

• Kontrollera att luftventilen är öppen.

• Kontrollera att rökutloppet inte är igensatt av sot.

En ovanlig mängd sot fastnar på glaset

Det kommer alltid att fastna en del sot på glaset men mängden

beror på:

• Bränslets fuktighet.

• Dragförhållandet.

• Inställningen av luftventilen.

Det mesta av sotet bränns normalt bort när luftventilen öppnas

helt och en eld brinner livligt i eldstaden (Se «9.1 Rengöra glaset

– ett gott råd»)
