• Use of the stroller with 2 children totaling more than 110 lbs (49.89 kg). will cause excessive wear and stress on the
stroller and may cause a hazardous, unstable condition.
• Never use this stroller to carry more than 2 children at the same time.
• Never allow a child to step on the footrest to get into or out of the stroller.
• Do not use the stroller on stairways or escalators.
• Hanging purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags or other accessory items from the handle bars or any other
parts of the stroller may change the balance of the stroller and cause a hazardous unstable condition. ONLY use
Joovy accessories designed for this product.
• The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 10 lbs (4.54 kg). Excessive weight may result in a
hazardous unstable condition.
• The maximum weight that can be carried in each cup holder is 1 lb (0.45 kg).
• Never allow your stroller to be used as a toy.
• Discard all packaging materials properly. Do not allow children to play with them.
• Check your stroller for loose rivets, snaps, worn parts, and torn material or stitching on a regular basis.
• Discontinue use of the stroller should it malfunction or become damaged.

1 Unpacking the Product
• Remove everything from the box and identify the parts using Figure 1.1. (not to scale)
A: stroller, B: canopy, C: 2 front wheels, D: 2 rear wheels, E: axle, F: tray, G: 2 caps (attached to the rear mounts of the stroller),
H: 2 washers, and documents (not shown). The rain cover is an optional accessory and is not shown.
• Discard all packaging materials properly including plastic coverings.
• DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials.
!WARNING
Adult assembly is required for this product. No tools required.
2 Unfolding
• Keep children away from stroller while unfolding.
NOTE: Remove packing foam from rear frame assembly to ensure stroller locks in the open position.
• Underthecenterofthehandlebar,ipopenthereleasebuttonandthensqueezethebuttonintothehandlebar.SeeFigure 2.1.
• While still squeezing the release button, lift up on the handle of the stroller until the frame snaps into its locked open position.
NOTE:Ifyouhavedifcultysqueezingthebutton,youmayneedtopushthehandleforwardwhilesqueezing.
CAUTION:Whileunfoldingthestroller,becarefultokeepyourngersfrombeingpinchedbymovingparts.
• Locate the loose rear basket bar
• Line up the 2 ends with the 2 holes, located under the rear seat, and push in the rear basket ends until both sides snap into place.
See Figure 2.2.
• Pull on the rear basket bar to ensure it is secure.
!WARNING
ALWAYS keep children away from stroller when unfolding.

3 Installing/Removing Rear Wheels
• Turn stroller upside down.
• Insert the rear axle through both holes under the stand-on platform. See Figure 3.1.
NOTE: Make sure to center the axle so both wheels lock fully onto the axle ends.
• Slide a washer onto the axle and then slide on a rear wheel until it snaps into place. See Figure 3.2.
• Repeat the installation steps for the other wheel.
• To remove a rear wheel, press the button in the center of the wheel while pulling on the wheel. See Figure 3.3.
4 Installing/Removing Front Wheels
• Tilt the stroller so it is resting on the rear wheels and the handle bar.
• Place the front wheels onto the front wheel posts until they click in place. See Figure 4.1.
• Pull on the wheels to ensure they are secured.
• Toremoveafrontwheelndandpressthereleasetablocatedontheundersideofthewheel.Thenpullthewheeloff.SeeFigure 4.2.
5 Front Wheel Locks
• The front wheels can be set to lock by pushing down on the locking lever or swivel by pulling up on the locking lever. See Figure 5.1.
6 Rear Wheel Brakes
• Always engage rear brakes before placing child in or removing a child from the stroller.
• To engage the brakes, push down on either of the brake levers until the brake snaps in place. See Figure 6.1.
• Check that BOTH wheel brakes are properly engaged.
• To release the brakes, lift up on either brake lever. See Figure 6.2.
!WARNING
Always engage the parking brake when the stroller is not being pushed so that it will not roll away.
Never leave stroller unattended, especially on a hill or incline, as the stroller may tip over or slide.
7 Operating the Canopy
• Position the canopy with the sun visor forward.
• Line up the canopy clamps with the notches located on the frame next to the front seat. Push down the canopy clamps until they snap into
place. Pull up on the canopy to ensure it is secured. See Figure 7.1.
• The canopy can be adjusted forward and back, and locked open using the canopy locks on BOTH sides. See Figures 7.2 and 7.3.
• To close the canopy, unlock the sides, then collapse.
• To remove the canopy, pull on the tabs located on the canopy clamps and pull up. See Figure 7.4.

8 Removing and Attaching the Caps
NOTE: The caps are already attached to the rear mounts of the stroller. These caps can be attached to the rear or front mounts of the
stroller using the instructions in this section.
• To remove the caps, pull up (with some force) on the caps. See Figure 8.1.
• To attach the caps, line up the caps with the mounts on the stroller and push down until they snap into place. See Figures 8.2.
9 Attaching, Detaching, and Operating the Tray
NOTE: The tray can be attached to the front or the rear of the stroller using the instructions in this section.
• Remove caps. See Section 8.
• To attach the tray, line up the tray arms with the mounts. Then push the tray down onto the mount on the stroller until it snaps into place.
See Figure 9.1.
• To remove the tray, squeeze the release buttons located under the tray arms and pull the tray up. See Figure 9.2.
• Tousethetray’sswingarm,releaseonesideofthetraybysqueezingthereleasebuttonandrotatethetrayupward.See Figure 9.3.
NOTE: The swing open feature only works on the front seat.
!WARNING
The child tray is not a restraint device. Always secure your child with the seat belt. Never lift the stroller by the child
tray. Use caution when attaching the child tray when there is a child seated in the stroller.
10 Storage Basket
• The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 10 lbs (4.54 kg).
• The storage basket has 2 sizes. After unfolding the stroller, the basket will always be set to the large position.
• To set the basket to the small position pull the rear basket bar rearward and then swing it down. See Figure 10.1.
• To set the basket to the larger position, from the small position, swing the rear basket bar up until it snaps into place. See Figure 10.2.

11 Seat Recline Positioning
The front seat has 3 recline positions. This seat should only be used for a child that is at least 3 months old. For children between 3 and 6
months, only use the fully reclined position.
• To move the seat, pull up on the recline handle, place the seat into the desired position, then release the handle. Check to ensure that the
recline mechanism has engaged, and that the seat does not move. See Figure 11.1.
!WARNING
Whether the seat is upright or reclined, ALWAYS make certain that the recline mechanism is engaged before placing
the child into the seat.
12 Using and Adjusting the Front Seat Restraint System
• Therearethreeheightadjustmentpositionsfortheshoulderharness.Adjusttheheighttotheclosestheightaboveyourchild’sshoulders.
• To remove the shoulder harness, turn the plastic ends sideways and push them through the slots in the seat back. Reattach the harness
at the proper height by reinserting the plastic ends through the slots. See Figure 12.1. Ensure both straps are attached at the same height.
• To remove the crotch strap, turn the plastic ends sideways and push them through the slots in the seat bottom. Reattach the crotch strap
by pushing the plastic end down through the slot.
• To unlatch the shoulder/waist buckle press the center button and remove the male ends of each buckle. See Figure 12.2.
• To separate the shoulder harness from the waist harness, simply slide the waist buckles from the shoulder buckles. See Figure 12.3.
• Carefully place the child in the seat with the shoulder straps over their shoulders and chest. Then place the crotch strap between the
child’slegs.
• Bringthewaiststrapsaroundthechild’swaistandinsertthemaleendsofthewaistbucklesintotheshoulderbuckles.See Figure 12.4.
Then insert the shoulder/waist buckles into the crotch buckle until the shoulder/waist buckles snap into place. See Figure 12.5.
• Tightenthewaistbelttobesnugaroundthechild’swaist.
• The shoulder, waist, and crotch straps may be adjusted using the sliding buckles on these straps.
!WARNING
Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always
use the seat belt and harness. The front seat is not suitable for children under 3 months.
13 Using and Adjusting the Rear Seat Restraint System
• Set the basket to its small position before allowing a child to sit on the rear bench seat.
• To remove the crotch strap, turn the plastic ends sideways and push them through the slots in the seat bottom. Reattach the crotch strap
by pushing the plastic end down through the slot. See Figure 13.1.
• To unlatch the waist buckle press the center button and remove the male ends of each buckle.
• To remove the waist straps by sliding the strap through the small opening in the metal D-ring, then pull the strap away from the seat.
See Figure 13.2. Reattach by wrapping the strap around the seat rear tube. Slide the strap through the small opening of the metal D-Ring
and pull the strap to secure it to the tube. Repeat for the other end of the strap.
• Havethechildsitonthebenchseatfacingbackwardwiththeirfeetontheplatform,Placethecrotchstrapbetweenthechild’slegs.
• Bringthewaiststrapsaroundthechild’swaistandinsertthemaleendsofthewaistbucklesintothecrotchbuckleuntilthewaistbuckles
snap into place. See Figure 13.3.
• Tightenthewaistbelttobesnugaroundthechild’swaist.
!WARNING
Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. The rear
bench seat is suitable ONLY for children at least 2½ years old, but LESS than 44 inches (111.76 cm) tall and less
than 55 lbs (24.95 kg). NEVER allow a rear seated child to use the canopy as a hand hold.
14 Using the Stand-On Platform
• Set the basket to its small position before allowing a child to stand on the platform.
• Position the child on the platform on the back of the stroller. Be sure that the child is facing forward and BOTH of their hands are holding
the handles on the frame.
• BesurethatBOTHofthechild’sfeetarefullyontheplatformatalltimes.
!WARNING
The rear stand-on platform and the rear bench seat are designed for a child that is at least 2½ years old but LESS
than 44 inches (111.76 cm) tall and less than 55 lbs (24.95 kg).

15 Extending/Compressing the Length of Stroller
NOTE: The length of the stroller has two positions: The short position, or long position. The stroller comes out of the box in the short position.
• Tosetthestrollerintothelongposition,ipdownthetabslocatedonbothsidesofthestroller.See Figure 15.1.
• Locate the adjustment lever under the front seat. See Figure 15.2. Squeeze the lever and pull the front seat out until the seat locks into
place. See Figure 15.3.
• Check to make sure the green dot is seen in the 2 small windows located on both sides of the stroller. See Figure 15.4.
TIP: Check the dot from the side of the stroller for the most accurate telling.
• Ensuretheframeislockedbyrmlypushing/pullingtheframe.Theframeshouldnotmovebacktowardtheshortposition.Flipbothofthe
tabs into the closed position.
• Tosetthestrollerintotheshortposition,ipdownthetabslocatedonbothsidesofthestroller.
• Locate the adjustment lever under the front seat. Squeeze the lever and push the front seat in until the seat locks into place. See Figure
15.5.
• Check to make sure the green dot is seen in the 2 small windows located on both sides of the stroller.
• Ensuretheframeislockedbyrmlypushing/pullingtheframe.Theframeshouldnotmovebacktowardthelongposition.Flipbothofthe
locking tabs up to lock in the stroller length.
• The stroller MUST be in the LONG or SHORT congurations. The stroller will not function properly in-between positions.
!WARNING
If the stroller is not locked in the long or short position it will be unsafe to operate and may not fold properly.
16 Folding the Stroller
• Keep children away from stroller while folding.
• Close the canopy and push it forward or backward.
• Put the front seat into the most upright position.
• Position the front wheels so that the locking levers are facing the rear of stroller, this allows the stroller to have a compact fold.
See Figure 16.1.
• Underthecenterofthehandlebar,ipopenthereleasebutton,squeezethebuttonintothehandlebarandpushthehandlefullyforward.
See Figure 16.2.
CAUTION:Whilefoldingthestroller,becarefultokeepyourngersfrombeingpinchedbymovingparts.
• Ensure that the stroller is locked by pulling up on the handle.
!WARNING
ALWAYS keep children away from the stroller when folding.
17 Removing the Front Seat Fabric
The front seat fabric is removable for washing.
• Remove the shoulder and the crotch straps. See section 12.
• Push the waist straps completely through the slots.
• Tilt the stroller back so that it rests on the handlebar and rear wheels.
• Under BOTH the front and the back of the seat, detach the 3 straps hooked onto the stroller. See Figure 17.1.
• Tilt the stroller back onto all the wheels.
• On each side of the seat, undo the Velcro® that covers part of the seat frame. See Figure 17.2.
• Pull the seat off the seat frame.
• Unzip the zipper near the bottom of the seat back, See Figure 17.3, and pull out the plastic board. See Figure 17.4.
• To reassemble the front seat, reinsert the plastic board into the seat back.

• Slip the seat onto the seat frame.
• Reattach the 3 straps under the front of the seat.
• Reattach the 3 straps under the rear of the seat.
• On each side of the seat Velcro® the fabric over the stroller frame.
• Feed the waist straps through the slots in the seat.
• Reinstall the shoulder and crotch straps. See Section 12.
18 Removing the Rear Bench Seat Fabric
The rear bench seat fabric is removable for washing.
• Detach the 3 Velcro® straps found under the bench seat. See Figure 18.1.
• Remove the crotch strap. See Section 13.
• To reassemble the rear bench seat, feed the plastic end of the crotch strap through the slot in the fabric and bench seat.
• Reattach the 3 Velcro® straps under the rear bench seat.
19 Rain Cover (OPTIONAL)
NOTES: The rain cover should only be used with the canopy. If using a car seat, then set the car seat in the rear position.The rain cover can
be used with the stroller in either the long or the short positions. Use Figure 19.1 for these instructions.
• Make sure the canopy is in the open position.
• Carefully open the rain cover to its fullest.
• Placetheraincoveroverthestrollerwiththelongaptowardtherearofthestroller.Makesurethefrontseamisoverthefrontedgeofthe
canopy. See Arrow A.
• Pullthelongapthroughtherearhandlebarjustbelowthecornersofthehandlebar.Pulleachoftherearsidesoftheraincoveraround
the outside of the handlebars. See Arrows B.
• Pullthelongapdownandattachthe4Velcro®attachmentsaroundtheverticalframetosecurethislongapinplace.Dothisforboth
sides. See Arrows C.
• Pull all 4 corners of the rain cover down towards the ground and attach the Velcro® straps around the frame corners. There are 2 sets of
Velcro® straps at each corner. These straps are positioned differently so they will work in either the long or short position of the stroller.
Attach the straps to the closest frame tube depending on which position the stroller is currently in. See Arrows D.
!WARNING
For use ONLY on the Joovy Caboose VaryLight stroller. Never leave this cover in place with child in stroller when
exposed to direct sun or high temperature, as temperature inside may be excessive.
This product is not a toy. DO NOT allow children to play with it.
Maintenance
Inspect all of the parts of the stroller periodically to ensure that they are secured, not torn or damaged and functioning properly. Any missing,
broken, or worn components should be replaced immediately, and the stroller should not be used until they are replaced. Only original
manufacturer’scomponentsshouldbeused.Ifneeded,pleasecontactJoovy.
Cleaning
The fabric material on this stroller can be cleaned using mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
Always allow the fabric to completely air dry before using the stroller.
The frame and wheels should always be kept clean and free of dirt and foreign matter, especially after operating the stroller in rain, snow, or
other harsh environments. Use a sponge or cloth dampened with warm water and a mild household soap or detergent to clean the wheels
after such use.

• Tirezsurlesrouespourvousassurerqu’ellessontbienxées.
• Pour retirer une roue avant, trouvez et appuyez sur le patte de dégagement situé sur le côté inférieur de la roue. Ensuite, tirez sur la roue
pour la libérer. Voir image 4.2.
5 Verrouillage des roues avant
• Les roues avant peuvent être verrouillées en poussant le levier de verrouillage vers le bas ou être libérées en tirant vers le haut sur le

2 Cómo abrir el cochecito
• Mantenga a los niños alejados del cochecito mientras lo abre.
NOTA: Retire la gomaespuma de embalaje del armazón trasero para asegurarse de que el cochecito se trabe en la posición correcta.
• Debajo el centro del manillar, levante el botón de traba e introdúzcalo en el manillar. Ver Figura 2.1.
• Mientras aprieta el botón de traba, levante el manillar del cochecito hasta que el armazón se encaje y trabe correctamente.
NOTA: Si le cuesta apretar el botón, tal vez deba empujar el manillar hacia adelante mientras aprieta el botón.
PRECAUCIÓN: Al abrir el cochecito, tenga cuidado de no pellizcarse los dedos con las piezas móviles.
• Ubique la barra trasera del canasto suelto.
• Alinee los 2 extremos con los 2 agujeros ubicados debajo del asiento trasero e introduzca los extremos traseros del canasto hasta que
ambos lados encajen en su lugar. Ver Figura 2.2.
• Tire de la barra trasera del canasto para asegurarse de que esté bien sujeto.

3 Instalación/desinstalación de las ruedas traseras
• Dé vuelta el cochecito.
• Inserte el eje trasero por los dos agujeros que están debajo de la plataforma. Ver Figura 3.1.
NOTA: Asegúrese de centrar el eje para que ambas ruedas queden bien colocadas en los extremos del eje.
• Deslice una arandela por el eje y luego deslice una rueda trasera hasta que encaje en su lugar. Ver Figura 3.2.
• Repita los pasos para instalar la otra rueda.
• Para sacar una rueda trasera, presione el botón del centro de la rueda mientras tira de la rueda. Ver Figura 3.3.
4 Instalación/desinstalación de las ruedas delanteras
• Incline el cochecito de manera que se apoye sobre las ruedas traseras y el manillar.
• Coloque las ruedas delanteras en los postes de las ruedas delanteras hasta que encajen en su lugar y hagan clic. Ver Figura 4.1.
• Tire de las ruedas para asegurarse de que estén bien sujetas.
• Para quitar una rueda delantera, busque y presione la pestaña de traba ubicada del lado de abajo de la rueda. Luego, tire de la rueda y
sáquela. Ver Figura 4.2.
5 Trabas de las ruedas delanteras
• Las ruedas delanteras pueden trabarse presionando la palanca de traba hacia abajo. Si la palanca de traba está hacia arriba, las ruedas

6 Frenos de las ruedas traseras
• Siempre coloque los frenos traseros antes de introducir o sacar al niño del cochecito.
• Para colocar los frenos, presione cualquiera de las palancas de freno hacia abajo hasta que el freno trabe la rueda. Ver Figura 6.1.

Siempre coloque el freno cuando el cochecito no esté andando para evitar que ruede solo. Nunca deje el cochecito
solo, especialmente en un lugar inclinado, ya que puede volcarse o deslizarse.
7 Uso de la capota
• Coloque la capota con el visor solar hacia adelante.
• Alinee las abrazaderas de la capota con las muescas ubicadas en el armazón al lado del asiento delantero. Empuje las abrazaderas de la
capota hacia abajo hasta que encajen en su lugar. Tire de la capota para asegurarse de que esté bien sujeta. Ver Figura 7.1.

• Para cerrar la capota, destrabe ambos lados y luego pliéguela.

8 Desinstalación e instalación de las tapas
NOTA: Las tapas vienen instaladas en los soportes traseros del cochecito. Estas tapas pueden colocarse en los soportes traseros o
delanteros siguiendo las instrucciones de esta sección.
• Para quitarlas, tire de las tapas hacia arriba (haciendo un poco de fuerza). Ver Figura 8.1.
• Para colocarlas, alinee las tapas con los soportes del cochecito y presiónelas hasta que encajen en su lugar. Ver Figura 8.2.
9 Instalación, desinstalación y uso de la bandeja
NOTA: La bandeja puede colocarse en la parte delantera o trasera del cochecito siguiendo las instrucciones de esta sección.
• Retire las tapas. Ver Sección 8.
• Para instalar la bandeja, alinee los brazos de la bandeja con los soportes. Luego, empuje la bandeja hacia abajo sobre el soporte hasta
que encaje en su lugar. Ver Figura 9.1.
• Para quitar la bandeja, presione los botones ubicados debajo de los brazos de la bandeja y tire hacia arriba. Ver Figura 9.2.
• Para usar el brazo oscilante de la bandeja, libere un lado de la bandeja presionando el botón y gire la bandeja hacia arriba. Ver Figura 9.3.
NOTA: El modo oscilante solo funciona cuando la bandeja está colocada en el asiento delantero.

La bandeja no es un elemento de sujeción. Siempre asegure a su hijo con el cinturón de seguridad. Nunca levante
el cochecito por la bandeja. Tenga cuidado al colocar la bandeja cuando el niño está sentado en el cochecito.
10 Canasto
• El peso máximo que se puede llevar en el canasto es de 4.54 kg (10 libras).
• El canasto tiene 2 tamaños. Cuando el cochecito está abierto, el canasto siempre estará en posición grande.
• Para achicar el canasto, tire de la barra trasera del canasto hacia atrás y luego gírela hacia abajo. Ver Figura 10.1.
• Para agrandar el canasto, gire la barra trasera del canasto hacia arriba hasta que encaje en su lugar. Ver Figura 10.2.
11 Posiciones de reclinación del asiento
El asiento delantero tiene 3 posiciones de reclinación. Este asiento solo puede usarse con un niño mayor de 3 meses. Para los niños de
entre 3 y 6 meses, use solo el asiento reclinado por completo.
• Paramoverelasiento,tiredelamanijadereclinación,coloqueelasientoenlaposicióndeseadayluegosueltelamanija.Veriquequeel
mecanismo de reclinación quede bien trabado y que el asiento no se mueva. Ver Figura 11.1.
!ADVERTENCIA
Tanto con el asiento reclinado o recto, SIEMPRE asegúrese de que el mecanismo esté bien trabado antes de
colocar al niño en el cochecito.
12 Uso y ajuste del sistema de sujeción del asiento delantero
• Hay tres posiciones para ajustar la altura de las correas de los hombros. Ajuste la altura lo más cerca posible de los hombros de su hijo.
• Para retirar las correas de los hombros, coloque los extremos de plástico hacia los costados y páselos por las ranuras del respaldo del
asiento. Vuelva a ajustar la altura de las correas reinsertando los extremos de plástico por las ranuras. Ver Figura 12.1. Asegúrese de
que ambas correas estén a la misma altura.
• Para retirar la correa de la entrepierna, coloque los extremos de plástico hacia los costados e introdúzcalos por las ranuras de la parte
inferior del asiento. Vuelva a ajustar la correa pasando el extremo de plástico hacia abajo por la ranura.
• Para desabrochar la hebilla de las correas de los hombros/cintura, presione el botón del centro y retire los extremos machos de cada
hebilla. Ver Figura 12.2.
• Para separar las correas de los hombros de las de la cintura, simplemente deslice las hebillas de la cintura alejándolas de las hebillas de
los hombros. Ver Figura 12.3.
• Coloque al niño con cuidado en el asiento, pasando las correas de los hombros por encima de sus hombros y pecho. Luego, coloque la
correa de la entrepierna entre las piernas del niño.
• Pase las correas de la cintura por la cintura del niño e inserte los extremos machos de las hebillas en las hebillas de las correas de los
hombros. Ver Figura 12.4. Luego, inserte las hebillas de las correas de los hombros/cintura en la hebilla de la correa de la entrepierna
hasta que encajen bien. Ver Figura 12.5.
• Ajusteelcinturónbienrmealrededordelacinturadelniño.
• Las correas de los hombros, cintura y entrepierna pueden ajustarse usando sus hebillas deslizables.
!ADVERTENCIA
Use siempre la correa de la entrepierna junto con la correa de la cintura. Evite que el niño se caiga o deslice y se
lastime gravemente. Use siempre el cinturón y las correas. El asiento delantero no es apto para niños menores de 3
meses.
13 Uso y ajuste del sistema de sujeción del asiento trasero
• Achique el canasto antes de permitir que el niño se siente en el asiento trasero.
• Para retirar la correa de la entrepierna, coloque los extremos de plástico hacia los costados e introdúzcalos por las ranuras de la parte
inferior del asiento. Vuelva a ajustar la correa pasando el extremo de plástico hacia abajo por la ranura Ver Figura 13.1.
• Para desabrochar la hebilla de la correa de la cintura, presione el botón del centro y retire los extremos machos de cada hebilla
• Retire las correas de la cintura deslizando la correa por la pequeña abertura del aro de metal con forma de D, luego aleje la correa del
asiento. Ver Figura 13.2. Vuelva a colocarla, envolviendo la correa alrededor del caño que está en la parte posterior del asiento. Deslice
la correa por la pequeña abertura del aro de metal con forma de D y tire de la correa para asegurarla al caño. Repita los pasos con el otro
extremo de la correa.
• Siente al niño mirando hacia atrás, con los pies en la plataforma. Coloque la correa de la entrepierna entre las piernas del niño.
• Pase las correas de la cintura alrededor de la cintura del niño e inserte los extremos machos de las hebillas en la hebilla de la correa de
la entrepierna hasta que encaje en su lugar. Ver Figura 13.3.
• Ajuste el cinturón de manera que sujete bien la cintura del niño.

Use siempre la correa de la entrepierna junto con la correa de la cintura. Evite que el niño se caiga o deslice y se

sentado en el asiento trasero se sujete de la capota.
14 Uso de la plataforma de paseo
• Achique el canasto antes de dejar que el niño se pare en la plataforma.
• Coloque al niño en la plataforma de la parte trasera del cochecito. Asegúrese de que el niño esté mirando hacia adelante y que se sujete
con las DOS manos de las manijas del armazón.
• Asegúrese de que los DOS pies del niño estén completamente sobre la plataforma en todo momento.
!ADVERTENCIA
La plataforma de paseo trasera y el asiento trasero están diseñados para niños mayores de 2½ años pero que
midan MENOS de 111.76 cm (44 pulgadas) y pesen menos de 24.95 kg (55 libras).
El uso del cochecito con 2 niños que pesen más de 49.89 kg (110 libras) entre los dos generará un desgaste y
esfuerzo excesivo del cochecito y puede provocar una inestabilidad peligrosa.
NUNCA permita que el niño que va parado utilice la capota para sostenerse.
No use NUNCA este cochecito para llevar a más de 2 niños a la vez.
15 La Extensión/Compresión de Longitud del Cochecito
NOTA: La longitud del cochecito tiene dos posiciones: La posición corta o posición larga. El cochecito sale de la caja en la posición corta.
• Paracongurarelcochecitoenlaposiciónlarga,volteehaciaabajolastrabassituadasaambosladosdelcochecito.Consulte la Figura 15.1.
• Localice la palanca de ajuste que está debajo del asiento delantero. Ver Figura 15.2. Apriete la palanca y saque el asiento delantero
hasta que se trabe en el lugar correcto. Ver Figura 15.3.
• Veriquequeseveaunpuntoverdeenlas2ventanitasqueestánaambosladosdelcochecito.Ver Figura 15.4.
SUGERENCIA: Compruebe el punto desde el lado del cochecito para major precisión.
• Asegurarqueelmarcoestáenganchadoporempujando/tirandormementeelmarco.Elmarconodeberíaretrocederhacialaposición
corta. Vuelva a levantar ambas trabas a la posición cerrada.
• Para volver el cochecito a la posición corta, voltee hacia abajo las trabas ubicadas a ambos lados del cochecito.
• Busque la palanca de ajuste que está debajo del asiento delantero. Apriete la palanca y empuje el asiento delantero hasta que se trabe
en el lugar correcto. Ver Figura 15.5.
• Veriquequeseveaunpuntoverdeenlas2ventanitasqueestánaambosladosdelcochecito.
• Asegurarqueelmarcoestáenganchadoporempujando/tirandormementeelmarco.Elmarconodeberíaretrocederhacialaposición
larga. Vuelva a levantar ambas trabas a la posición cerrada.
• El cochecito DEBE estar en la conguración CORTA o LARGA. El cochecito no funcionará correctamente si está intermedio.
!ADVERTENCIA
Si el cochecito no está bien trabado en la posición larga o corta, su uso no será seguro y no se cerrará
correctamente.

16 Cómo cerrar el cochecito
• Mantenga a los niños alejados del cochecito al cerrarlo.
• Cierre la capota y empújela hacia adelante o hacia atrás.
• Coloque el asiento delantero en su posición más derecha.
• Coloque las ruedas delanteras de manera que las trabas queden mirando hacia la parte trasera del cochecito. Esto permite un cierre más
compacto del cochecito. Ver Figura 16.1.
• Debajo del centro del manillar, abra el botón de traba, apriételo y empuje el manillar hacia adelante. Ver Figura 16.2.
PRECAUCIÓN: Al cerrar el cochecito, tenga cuidado de no pellizcarse los dedos con las piezas móviles.
• Asegúrese de que el cochecito esté trabado tirando del manillar hacia arriba.
!ADVERTENCIA
Mantenga SIEMPRE a los niños alejados del cochecito al cerrarlo.
17 Cómo retirar la tela del asiento delantero
Se puede sacar la tela del asiento delantero para lavarla.
• Retire las correas de los hombros y la entrepierna. Ver sección 12.
• Retire por completo las correas de la cintura por las ranuras.
• Incline el cochecito hacia atrás apoyándolo sobre el manillar y las ruedas traseras.
• Debajo de la parte delantera Y trasera del asiento, desmonte las 3 correas enganchadas al cochecito. Ver Figura 17.1.
• Vuelva a parar al cochecito sobre sus cuatro ruedas.
• A cada lado del asiento, separe el Velcro® que recubre parte del armazón del asiento. Ver Figura 17.2.
• Retire el asiento del armazón.
• Abra el cierre que está cerca de la parte inferior del respaldo del asiento. Ver Figura 17.3, y saque el panel de plástico. Ver Figura 17.4.
• Para volver a armar el asiento delantero, reinserte el panel de plástico en el respaldo del asiento.
• Coloque el asiento en el armazón.
• Vuelva a colocar las 3 correas debajo de la parte delantera del asiento.
• Vuelva a colocar las 3 correas debajo de la parte trasera del asiento.
• A cada lado del asiento, vuelva a adherir con Velcro® la tela que recubre el armazón.
• Vuelva a colocar las correas de la cintura por las ranuras del asiento.
• Reinstale las correas de los hombros y la entrepierna. Ver Sección 12.
18 Cómo retirar la tela del asiento trasero
Se puede sacar la tela del asiento trasero para lavarla.
• Separe las 3 tiras de Velcro® que están debajo del asiento. Ver Figura 18.1.
• Retire la correa de la entrepierna. Ver Sección 13.
• Para volver a instalar el asiento trasero, pase el extremo de plástico de la correa de la entrepierna por la ranura de la tela y el asiento.
• Vuelva a unir las 3 tiras de Velcro® que están debajo del asiento.
19 Cobertor para lluvia (OPCIONAL)
NOTAS: El cobertor para lluvia solo debe usarse con la capota abierta. Si se utiliza un asiento para auto, éste debe colocarse atrás. El
cobertor para lluvia se puede usar tanto con el cochecito en posición larga o corta. Utilice la Figura 19.1 para estas instrucciones.
• Asegúrese de que la capota esté abierta.
• Abra totalmente el cobertor para lluvia.
• Coloque el cobertor para lluvia sobre el cochecito con el lado largo mirando hacia la parte trasera del cochecito. Asegúrese de que la
costura delantera quede sobre el borde delantero de la capota. Ver Flecha A.
• Pase el lado largo del cobertor por el manillar trasero justo debajo de las esquinas del manillar. Cubra el exterior del manillar con los
laterales del cobertor. Ver Flechas B.
• Tire del lado largo del cobertor hacia abajo y una las 4 tiras de Velcro® que están alrededor del armazón vertical para asegurarlo en su
lugar. Sujételo de ambos lados. Ver Flechas C.
• Tire de las 4 esquinas del cobertor hacia abajo y una las tiras de Velcro® que están alrededor de las esquinas del armazón. Hay 2 juegos
de tiras de Velcro® en cada esquina. Estas tiras están colocadas en diferentes posiciones para que se adapten al cochecito largo o corto.
Una las tiras al caño del armazón más cercano dependiendo de la posición del cochecito. Ver Flechas D.
!ADVERTENCIA
SOLO para usar en el cochecito Caboose VaryLight de Joovy. Nunca deje el cobertor puesto con el niño en el
cochecito expuesto al sol o a altas temperaturas ya que la temperatura en el interior puede ser excesiva. Este
producto no es un juguete. NO permita que los niños jueguen con él.

Mantenimiento
Revisetodaslaspiezasdelcochecitoperiódicamenteparavericarqueesténbienajustadas,quenoesténgastadasnidañadasyque
funcionen correctamente. Se deben reponer de inmediato todas las piezas faltantes y cambiar los componentes rotos o gastados, y no
se debe usar el cochecito hasta que no estén todas las piezas repuestas y cambiadas. Solo se deben usar componentes originales del
fabricante. En caso de necesidad, contáctese con Joovy.
Limpieza
La tela de este cochecito se puede limpiar con jabón o detergente suave de uso doméstico y agua tibia, con esponja o paño limpio. Seque
la tela al aire libre y vuelva a colocarla cuando esté completamente seca.
El armazón y las ruedas siempre deben estar limpios, sin suciedad ni materias extrañas, especialmente después de usar el cochecito en la
lluvia, nieve u otros ambientes hostiles. Utilice una esponja o paño humedecido en agua tibia y jabón o detergente suave de uso doméstico
para limpiar las ruedas después de usar el cochecito en estas condiciones.
