IMPORTANT SAFETY GUARDS
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
To ensure safe, appropriate use of your Clock Ra-
dio, please follow the advice below.
Location
Do not use the product in extremely hot, cold, UÊ
dusty or damp conditions. Do not use this
product near a shower, bathtub or pool.
Place the product on a smooth, flat surface.UÊ
Ensure that air is free to circulate through the UÊ
product. Do not use it in a poorly ventilated
place or cover it with cloth. Your Clock Radio
has ventilation holes, which should never be
obstructed.
Power Supply
Before using the product, check that your UÊ
mains supply is suitable for the rated voltage
of your appliance.
Safety Precautions
When you plug in or unplug the power cord, UÊ
always hold the plug rather than the cable.
Pulling the cord could damage it and create
a hazard.
Always unplug the product from the mains if UÊ
you do not intend to use it for an extended pe-
riod. Unplug the appliance especially during
thunderstorm and lightning.
If the power cord is damaged it has to be re-UÊ
placed by manufacturer, a service center or a
qualified person to avoid danger.
No open flame sources such as lighted can-UÊ
dles should be placed on the appliance.
In the event of a problem, unplug the power
cord and contact our service center.
Keep this instruction for further reference and UÊ
transfer it together with the appliance.
Extreme high volume leads to permanent hea-UÊ
ring damage.
Don’t open the appliance. Do not put objects UÊ
through the openings.
Do not dispose of this appliance with
household litter. Please bring it to the pu-
blic collection centres of your city or re-
turn it to the retailer where you bought this
appliance.
