Clock
To set the CLOCK press the MENU button to the left of the display. The display will show CLOCK.
Alternatively press and hold the CLOCK button on the remote, until the hour digits flash in the display.
Press the SKIP (DOWN or UP) button to set the correct hour and press the PLAY button to confirm. The
minute digits will flash. Press the SKIP (DOWN or UP) to set the correct minute. Then press the PLAY
button again to confirm.
Note: Each enabled state will be cleared, if the button is not pressed within 10 seconds.
MUTE (remote control only)
Switch off the loud speaker temporarily. Switch on by depressing again or by using volume controls.
EQ - Equalizer (remote control only)
An Equalizer shall adapt the system to the conditions in the
room by lifting or suppressing certain frequencies.
In this appliance this function is used to boost the sound
characteristics of popular types of music (Pop, Jazz, Clas-
sic, and Rock). Setting “FLAT” leaves the sound unal-
tered.
The selected setting is shown on the display (right).
Sleep Function
If you want to fall asleep to music, press SLEEP button on the remote.
You may adjust the sleep function to 120, 90, 60, 30, 15, or 5 minutes of music before shutting off auto-
matically.
Volume
Use the + / - Buttons on the remote control or turn the volume knob on the appliance.
WARNING: EXCESSIVE VOLUME DAMAGES HEARING PERMANENTLY. Children and young adults are
especially vulnerable.
The appliance saves the volume settings in standby mode. When unplugging the appliance the settings
are not saved. After inserting the plug into the wall outlet the volume is set to 10.
