KETTLE SPECIAL ATTENTIONS
• The kettle works with electricity only. Never use the tank on an electric or gas cooker, nor in a
microwave, do not use it when it has a fissure.
• Never connect without the water level being over the minimum level, and not going over the
maximum level of the water level indicator.
• If the kettle is too full, the water may splash when it boils.
• Do not use any other liquid or additive than water in the tank.
• VERY IMPORTANT:
-Never immerse the tank in water or other liquids.
-Never open the lid when the water is boiling.
• The exterior parts of the tank get hot. Use the handle to manipulate.
• The kettle must only be used with the base provided.
• Disconnect from the mains before removing it from its base.
• Always use with the lid on. Otherwise, the automatic disconnection system, when the water boils,
will not work and the water will continue to boil until it evaporates completely.
• Before using the kettle for the first time, make it works only with water a couple of times to clean
out completely.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
MAKE COFFEE
• Open the filter holder (7) with the lip on the top right hand corner by moving it outwards and
from left to right.
• Add the desired amount of coffee in the filter (8) using the spoon (12).
• Do not put too much coffee in the filter (8) and never press the coffee down. The water may
overflow.
• To obtain a stronger or milder coffee, adjust the amount of coffee in the filter to taste.
• Close the filter holder again.
• Pour cold water in the tank according to the number of coffee cups you are preparing. The marks
of the water level placed in the left side of the tank and never go over the “MAX ”
indication.
• Close the lid of the tank, place the jug on the hot plate (5) and plug the machine into the mains.
• Set the main switch (2) to the “on “ position II. Doing that the coffee maker pilot light (4) will
light on.
• The coffee will begin to flow in a short time.
• While the coffee is being made you may remove the jug (6), as the automatic anti-drip system
stops it from dripping. Take care not to remove it for too long as the coffee in the filter holder
may overflow.
• If you wish to keep the coffee hot, leave the jug (6) on the hot plate (5) and keep the coffee
machine on.
KETTLE
• Remove the lid (9) and pour water in the tank (10).
• Bear in mind that the water level must be between the minimum (MIN) level and the maximum
(MAX 1,7L) level shown in the right side of the tank.
• Replace again the lid (9).
• Plug the appliance to the mains and press the main switch (2) to the I position. The kettle indicator
light (3) will light on.
• Next press the kettle switch (11) to the “I” position. The indicator switch light will light on and
the water start heating.
