ATTENTION

• Carefully read these instructions before using the coffee

maker for the first time and keep them for future enquiries.

• This appliance can be used by children at the age of 8 or

more and people with physical, sensory or mental capabilities

or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given

an appropriate supervision or instruction concerning the

safety use of the appliances and understand the dangers

involved.

• Keep all plastic bags and packaging components out of the

reach of children. They are potentially dangerous.

• Do not connect the coffee maker to the mains without

checking that the voltage on the rating plate and that of

your household is the same.

LIMPEZA E MANUTENÇÃO

• Antes de qualquer operação certifique-se que a máquina de café está desligada da rede.

• O jarro, o filtro e o portafiltros podem ser lavados com água quente e detergente assegurando-

se seguidamente de enxaguar bem.

• Para retirar o porta-filtros (8) pressione na sua parte traseira na direcção que indica a seta e retire-

o. Para voltar a colocá-lo encaixe-o simplesmente e pressione-o para baixo.

• A placa aquecedora e o corpo da máquina de café devem ser limpos com um pano suave, levemente

humedecido.

• Na sua limpeza não utilize produtos químicos ou abrasivos, esfregões metálicos, etc., que possam

deteriorar a superfície.

• Para eliminar as incrustações calcárias que, com o uso, se podem produzir nos condutos por onde

circula a água, é conveniente proceder à sua descalcificação de tanto em tanto tempo da seguinte

forma:

- Deite uma solução de água e vinagre em partes iguais no depósito.

- Ligue a máquina do café sem café; deixe que saia, aproximadamente, metade da solução.

- Desligue a máquina do café e aguarde 15 minutos.

- Volte a ligar a máquina do café e deixe que saia o resto da solução

- Seguidamente, faça funcionar duas vezes a máquina de café, só com água.

• Na sua qualidade de consumidor, quando desejar deitar o aparelho fora coloque-o, para

tratamento posterior, num centro de recolha de resíduos ou contentor destinado a tal

fim.

• Nunca o deite no lixo caseiro. Assim, estará a contribuir para o cuidado e melhoria do

meio ambiente.
