To change from position 1 to 2, unfasten the side clasps that are found near both sides of the baby's head, use your thumb and index finger to press on both
sides of the clasp, and repeat the same operation for both sides and then again for the clasps situated below the ones you have unfastened. You can unfasten
the side straps that are in the holes around the baby's legs so that changing position is more comfortable for you and your baby. When the carrier is fully open,
you can take your baby out comfortably and safely. To change from position 1 to 2, with the baby carrier fully open, position the baby facing forwards and place
his legs through the lower holes of the carrier. When the baby is in place, fasten the clasps under the baby's head on both sides and pull the straps so they fit
the baby's body correctly. Repeat the same operation for the top clasps, and lastly, fold the headrest outwards and fasten it to the body of the carrier with the
hook on the middle part, so it does not bother the child when in position 2.

•Baby carrier TRAVEL of Jané, complies with European Standard EN 13209-2: 2015 (Baby carrier backpack). DESIGNED IN SPAIN - MADE IN CHINA.
•Put the baby carrier on by passing the upper straps over your head. See figure 1 on page 4. Check that the straps are supported on your shoulders and that the safety
cross is on your back.
•Adjust the lower back strap using the Velcro so that it fits snugly around your waist and fasten the safety clip. (See figure 2, page 4). Pull both ends of the rear straps
so that they are fitted evenly to the adult’s body. (See figure 3, page 4).
•Make sure that the clasps and straps used to position the baby’s legs are unfastened so you can put the child in the carrier quickly and easily. (See figure 4, page 4)
•Place the baby in the carrier checking that his legs go through the correct side holes at the bottom. (See figure 5, page 4)
•Fit the straps on both sides to the buttons on the carrier by the baby’s legs, so they are held snugly. This button should be fastened when the baby weighs between
3.5 and 4.5 Kilos. (See figure 6, page 4)
•Then hold the baby against you until you have fastened the baby carrier correctly with all the clasps on the front sides of the carrier (See figure 7, page 4).This includes
the clasps that secure the child to your body as well as those that hold the child’s head. Check that the baby’s arms go through the correct gaps as shown in the
photograph. (See figure 9, page 4)
•Adjust the headrest with the side clasps, repeating the same action. This headrest should be used in position 1 and when the baby weighs between 3.5 and 4.5 Kilos.
(See figure 8, page 4)
•Adjust the straps so that the baby is positioned quite high up, close to your chest. To check that the baby is at the right height, check that you can kiss the baby’s head
easily. Make sure that the belt buckle is fastened properly and fits around your waist snugly so it doesn’t move when you walk (See figure 2, page 4). Check that the
baby’s arms go through the right holes and that his face is not too close to the carer’s body to make sure that air can pass through easily, as this could cause a risk of
suffocation for the baby (See figure 9, page 4)
•For position 1, unfasten the central zip at the bottom before positioning the baby facing the carer. This position helps to strengthen the baby’s inner thigh muscles
as his knees are level with the carer’s hips. (See figure 10, page 4)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Unfasten the central zip at the bottom when the baby is in position 1
facing the carer, this helps the baby’s hips to develop as his legs are open
wider helping to strengthen the thigh muscles.
IMPORTANT:
Only use the zip in this position (baby facing the carer).
