Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the
packaging material. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the appliance after
unpacking for any damage, possible from transportation. Place the scale on a firm, flat surface. Remove the batteries from
the protective packaging and insert with the correct polarity. See the diagram inside the battery compartment.
Press the UNIT button on the back of the scale to select the correct measuring unit (kg/st/lb).
kg = kilograms
lb = pounds
st = stone
Place the scale on a flat and stable surface and wait for the scale to turn itself off.
Before the first use the scale must be calibrated. This must be done every time you use the scale on a different spot or when
the batterie is replaced.
Place the scale on a flat and stable surface. With your foot press on the middle of the glass surface. The full display will show
and when it shows “0.0” the scale is ready for use.

You must enter personal user parameters in order to measure your body fat percentage and other physical data. The scale
has 10 memory positions in which you and other members of your family can save and retrieve personal settings.
You can enter the following settings:
Memory position (P) P0 to P9
Body size 100 to 240 cm/3 ft 3 inch~7 ft 10inch
Age 10 to 80 years
Gender male ( ), female ( )
Sportsman or
-woman
sportman ( ) or sportswoman ( )
For people who exercise regularly.
• Press the SET key when the display is switched off to change the setting.
• Press the SET key again to select the correct user, press the or keys and press the SET key again to confirm.
• After you have entered the correct user, the symbol for gender will blink. To select the gender (male, female, sportsman,
sportswoman), press the or keys and press the SET key again to confirm.
