• If a fault should occur during use, switch off the device

immediately and unplug it from the socket.

• The device is only intended for individual use, and not

for medical or commercial use.

• Do not use the device continuously for longer than 15

minutes to avoid overheating. Let the device cool down

before using it again.

• Never cover the device when it is switched on (with

blanket, pillow etc.).

• Never operate the device unsupervised, especially if

there are children in the vicinity.

• Children (under the age of 15), helpless or disabled

persons must use the device only under adult

supervision or must be familiarised with the device

beforehand.

• Do not use with animals or pets.

• Persons with cardiac pacemakers are requested to

consult their doctor before using the massage device

and never to massage the region of the heart.

• Never use the device on swollen, burned or injured

areas of skin. The following should also not be

massaged: bones (e.g. joints, spine), the head or other

sensitive areas of the body.

• Do not carry out a massage if you have a cold with a

high temperature, varicose veins, thrombosis, vein

inammation, jaundice, diabetes, pregnancy, nerve

disorders (e.g. sciatica) or acute inammation. In such

cases, consult your doctor.

• Do not use the massage device in bed. You must never

fall asleep during use.

• Always return the appliance after a malfunction, or if

it has been damaged in any manner to the Customer

Service Department for examination, repair or

adjustment as special purpose tools are required.

• An electrical appliance is not a toy, and should

therefore always be placed outside the reach of

children. Children are not always able to understand

potential risks. Teach children a responsible handling of

electrical appliances.

• If you decide never to use the appliance again, we

advise you to dispose of it in special containers or at a

municipal waste collection point.

• Never use the appliance if it is not working properly,

or if it has been damaged. Any intervention other than

cleaning and normal maintenance by the customer

must be carried out by an approved service centre.

• The zip fastener on the Shiatsu massage device must

not be opened. It is only tted for reasons relating to

the manufacturing of the device.

• Never insert any objects into openings on the device,

and never insert anything into the rotating parts. Make

sure that all moving parts can move freely at all times.

• Make sure that no hair can get caught in the device.

• Avoid contact with sharp or pointed objects.

• Never sit or stand on the device with all your weight

and do not place objects on the device.

• If the appliance is used for other purposes than

intended, or is it not handled in accordance with the

instruction manual, the full responsibility for any

consequences will rest with the user. Any damages to

the product or other things are not covered by the

warranty.

Before you use the appliance for the rst time, please do

as follows: Carefully unpack the appliance and remove

all the packaging material. Keep the material (plastic

bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the

appliance after unpacking for any damage, possible from

transportation.

Fit the protective cover to the appliance if it is not

already in place. Connect the power supply plug to the

massage device. The switch must be set to “0”. Move it

to “0” if it is not already in this position.

The massage must be pleasant and relaxing at all times.

Stop the massage or change the position of the massage

device if you nd it is painful or unpleasant.

To start with the massage, gently press the part of your

body you wish to massage against the massage device.

Particularly when lying down, make sure that you gently

lift your weight off the corresponding part of your body.

Then make sure that you are in a comfortable position

before gradually shifting your weight onto the massage

device.

Use the switch on the side to switch on the massage

device. The switch positions I and II also determine the

massaging direction:

• switch position I: the massage heads rotate against

each other in an upward motion.

• switch position II: the massage heads rotate against

each other in a downward motion.

Move the switch to the middle position (level 0) to switch

the device off.
