9 Préparation à linstallation
9.1 Prescriptions locales en matière
dinstallation
Lors de l’installation du chauffe-eau, il s’agit de
respecter les prescriptions locales en matière
d’installation, édictées notamment par les
compagnies d’électricité et de distribution d’eau.
9.2 Conditions relatives à linstallation
Déterminez l’emplacement sur le mur du
chauffe-eau en fonction de son encombre-
ment (fig. 3), de la chaudière et du poste de
puisage d'eau chaude le plus utilisé. A cet
égard, tenez compte des aspects suivants :
- Chauffe-eau, groupe de sécurité, conduits
d’eau et d’évacuation doivent se trouver
dans un local où le risque de gel est exclu.
- La paroi ou le sol doivent être plans et capa-
bles de supporter le poids du chauffe-eau rempli.
- L’espace au tour de l’appareil doit être
suffisant pour permettre les travaux
d’entretien et de réparation.
