Vrij chloor:

Indien te hoog – sterke geur, huid en oog irritatie, gecorrodeerd metaal en andere materialen.
pH:
waarde die aangeeft hoe zuur of basisch het water is.
Indien te laag – roestvorming op metaal, oog- en huidirritatie, afbraak van totaal alkalisch vermogen.
Indien te hoog – opbouw van calcium, troebel water, verkorte lter / verwarming cyclus, oog en huidirritatie,
slechte chloor efciëntie.
Totaal alkalisch vermogen (TA):
Is de mate waarin water in staat is om de eigen pH waarde aan te passen.
Wijzig dus altijd eerst het totaal alkalisch vermogen en dan pas de pH waarde.
Indien te laag – gecorrodeerde metalen, oog en huidirritatie. Een lage alkaline zorgt voor een instabiele pH
waarde.
Indien te hoog – opbouw van calcium, troebel water, verkorte lter / verwarming cyclus, oog en huidirritatie,
hoge vraag naar chloor.
Calcium hardheid (CaCO
3
):
Is de opgeloste hoeveelheid calcium en magnesium in het water.
Indien te laag – Moeite met het op niveau brengen van de gehaltes in het water, corrosie van metalen
onderdelen, oog en huidirritatie en schuimend water.
Indien te hoog – Opbouw van calcium, troebel water, oog en huid irritatie, moeite met het op niveau brengen
van de gehaltes in het water en niet voldoende functioneren van het lter / de verwarming.
Saturatie Index (SI):
temperatuur, calcium hardheid concentratie, totale alkaliteit en pH vormen de
belangrijkste factoren die van invloed zijn op kalkvorming. De neiging van water om of aanslag of corrosie te
vormen wordt aangegeven door de Saturatie Index (SI):

Test de pH, temperatuur, calciumhardheid en totale alkaliteit niveaus. Gebruik de factoren in de SI vergelijking.
SI = 0, Balans
Als SI> 0, aanslag of troebel water.
Als SI< 0, corrosie van metalen of oog en huid irritatie.
Het SI is op niveau wanneer de waarde tussen -0.3 en +0.3 zijn waarbij 0 perfect is.
