STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM (6 PORTIONS)
250g fresh and sliced strawberries
3/2 tablespoons of squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of whole milk
1 cup of heavy cream
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
Combine strawberries, lemon juice and 1/2 cup of sugar in a bowl. Stir gently and leave the
strawberries to macerate for about 2 hours.
In another bowl, combine milk and the remaining part of the sugar, mix the ingredients with
an electric mixer for 2 minutes at low speed.
Combine the liquid cream and the juice obtained from the maceration of the strawberries.
Add the vanilla extract to taste.
Pour the mixture into the bowl of the ice cream maker and start processing for about 30-40
minutes until the mixture is well thick.
Add the sliced strawberries during the last 5 minutes of processing.
CHOCOLATE FROZEN YOGURT (6 PORTIONS)
1 cup of whole milk
180g chocolate akes
2 cups of vanilla low-fat yogurt
100g sugar
Pour the chocolate akes into hot milk and work with a food processor until obtaining a
smooth and homogeneous result. Add yogurt, sugar and mix it evenly.
Pour the mixture into the bowl of the ice cream maker and start processing for about 30-40
minutes until the mixture is well thick.
