USER MANUAL
Thanks for purchasing INNOLIVING ultrasonic humidifier. Using a humidifier helps you
to keep indoor humidity at a comfortable level, a humidity level between 40 and 60%
is recommended. A humidity level below 30% can be dry and uncomfortable. A correct
humidity level helps to protect from irritation of the mucous membranes, dry and itchy
skin, chapped lips and a dry, sore throat. When the mucous membranes do not function
optimally, they cannot give full protection from all kinds of germs. This increases the
chance of catching a cold or the flu and reduces the resistance to infection by mould
and bacteria. Before use, read carefully this instruction manual and keep it as reference
for future use. This product is not a medical device.
GENERAL SAFETY NORMS
- Do not immerse the base of the humidier in water and do not let water run into the
base.
- Never open the base to prevent electric shock.
- Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance. The appliance is suitable for mains voltages
ranging from 220 to 240V.
- If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by an authorized servic
centre, the manufacturer or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces.
- Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extension leads
- This appliance must only be used for the purpose for which it has been designed, that
is, as a humidier.
- Any other use is to be considered improper and therefore hazardous The manufacturer
cannot be held responsible for any damage due to improper or incorrect use.
- This appliance can be used by children form 8 years and above and people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge
if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be performed by children, unless
they are supervised.
- Never touch the appliance with hands or feet that are wet or damp.
- Do not pull the power cord or the appliance to remove the plug from the socket.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Do not touch the steam generator when the appliance is plugged in.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains immediately if it produces
a strange smell or an abnormal noise. See chapter ‘Troubleshooting’. If the problem
persists, contact an authorized service centre.
- Switch off the humidier and unplug it before you move, clean or ll it.
- CAUTION–Unplug the appliance before lling it up with water. Do not add any
additives (salt, scents, perfumes etc.)
- Do not switch on the humidier when there is no water in the water tank.
- Do not direct the mist output at furniture or electrical appliances.
- Keep the humidier at normal room temperature and do not use it at very low
temperatures (below 0°C).
- Make sure the humidier and the mains cord are always out of reach of the baby (at
