2. SAFETY NOTICES

Read the safety notices carefully before starting to operate the

product. Take note of all warnings and notes both on the product and

in the operating manual.

2.1 Basic safety notices

• In case of operating problems, disconnect the product from the

mains power supply.

• To avoid the risk of ﬁre or of an electrical shock, do not expose the

product to rain or to other wet conditions.

• Do not open the product housing. This would expose you to the

risk of an electrical shock.

• Connect the product only to a professionally installed mains outlet

of 220–240 V~, 50–60 Hz.

• If you are not using the DABMAN 40 BT for an extended period,

disconnect it from the mains power supply. Pull only on the mains

adapter, not the cable.

• In case of electrical storms, disconnect the USB charging adapt-

er (not supplied) from the mains power.

• In case any foreign objects or liquid should enter the equipment,

please immediately disconnect the mains adapter cable from the

power outlet.. In case of any defects, please have the equipment

checked by qualiﬁed service personnel before using it again.

• Please ensure the mains power supply (outlet) is easily accessible

• Do not squash or sharply bend any cable connections

• Never allow children to use the equipment without supervision.

• Always have maintenance or repair work carried out by qualiﬁed

personnel. Ignoring this may endanger you and others.
