BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials and check the device and accessories for possible damages.
Clean the device as described in the Cleaning and Maintenance section. Follow the Safety
Instructions.
Keep packaging materials away from children.
Prior to using the device for the first time, get familiar with the accessories and all possible uses of
the device.
OPERATION
Attaching the mixer to the unit
1. Take the mixer (3) and place it on the body of the device (see
fig.).
2. Press the locking button (6) and make sure that the locking
mechanism is hinged at the bottom side of the mixer. First hook in
both pins. After releasing the locking button the mixer will be
securely attached.
3. In order to later detach it, keep the locking button pressed and lift
the mixer from the guides.
Tilting the mixer
1. In order to make the attaching of the beaters (10) and hooks (9)
easier and to be able to pivot the beaters and hooks upward
during use, the device is equipped with a tilting mechanism.
2. Press the locking button and then pivot the mixer upward until it
is locked in place. In order to later pivot it downward, press the
locking button again. Make sure that the tilting mechanism is
locked in place in the lower position (see fig.).
Attaching and detaching the beaters/hooks
1. CAUTION! Make sure that the device is disconnected from the
power supply when you attach beaters or hooks.
2. Insert both beaters/hooks to the openings on the main body of the mixer by slightly rotating
them until they are locked in place.
3. When you use the hooks, make sure they have been inserted into the correct openings. The
hook with ring (8)
must be inserted into the bigger opening.
4. In order to detach the beaters after use, set the level switch 0-5 (2) to the 0 position and
press the level switch down until the beaters or hooks can be detached in the downward
direction.
5. CAUTION! Do not press the level switch down when the device is in use.
Switching the device on and off
CAUTION! The device is intended for short-time operation only. When set to levels from 1 to 5 it
can work uninterrupted for a maximum of 5 minutes (when using the TURBO button it can also be
used for a maximum of 5 minutes at a time). After this period allow the device to cool down for at
least 10 minutes prior to switching it on again.
Level switch 0-5 (2)
0 = Off
1- 5 = Speed levels (1=lowest speed; 5= highest speed)
