1. Obliczana przez wagę zawartość procentowa wody i tłuszczu jest wyłącznie wartością przybliżoną. Wygląd
fizyczny człowieka nie koniecznie ma wpływ na proporcję zawartości tłuszczu i wody. Dodatkowo osoby o
podobnym wyglądzie, będące w tym samym wieku i tej samej płci, mogą uzyskać różne wyniki. Należy
skontaktować się z lekarzem, aby dokładnie sprawdzić proporcje zawartości tłuszczu oraz wody w
organizmie.
Używanie wagi do mierzenia procentowej zawartości tłuszczu i wody nie jest odpowiednie dla:
- Dzieci poniżej 10 roku życia, oraz osób powyżej 80 roku życia
- Osób mających gorączkę, obrzęki lub z osteoporozą
- Dializowanych pacjentów
- Osób biorących leki na serce
- Kobiet w ciąży
- Sportowców trenujących powyżej 10 godzin dziennie
- Osób posiadających puls niższy niż 60 na minutę
