Na 2 seconden verschijnen de werkelijke temperatuur, de stand en de ingestelde
temperatuur in beeld. De werkelijke temperatuur kan in eerste instantie te hoog lijken.
Dit komt door de warmte van uw handen. Na een paar minuten aan de muur zal deze
zich herstellen.
Testen
Wacht voor u gaat testen minimaal 5 minuten. Doet u dit niet, dan is er de kans dat de
ketel gaat pendelen en daardoor in de beveiliging gaat. In dat geval lijkt het alsof de
thermostaat niet meer werkt, omdat de ketel wacht met inschakelen.
1. Controleer de juiste werking van de knoppen.
Kort aanraken van de knoppen zorgt voor een verlaging ( ‘-‘ toets) of een verhoging (‘+’
toets) van de ingestelde temperatuur.
2. Controleer of de ketel inschakelt.
Stel de temperatuur hoger in dan de huidige temperatuur (bijv. 24°C). Er zal nu na
maximaal 10 seconden op het display een pijltje gaan bewegen. Er is nu een warmtevraag
en de ketel zal inschakelen.
3. Controleer of de ketel uitschakelt.
Stel de temperatuur lager in dan de omgevingstemperatuur. Het pijltje zal na maximaal 10
seconden verdwijnen. Er is geen warmtevraag meer en de ketel zal uitschakelen.
Als bovenstaande functies werken, betekent dat dat u de thermostaat correct heeft
geïnstalleerd. U kunt nu de thermostaat programmeren.
Als de thermostaat niet goed werkt of als de ketel niet reageert, maak dan de thermostaat
weer open, haal de accu uit de houder en plaats deze opnieuw. Controleer of u alle
stappen juist heeft doorlopen. Controleer in het keteloverzicht wat bij uw thermostaat
is geleverd of u voor uw verwarmingstoestel een weerstand of een power converter had
moeten plaatsen.
