Cloning allows you to quickly and easily transfer the pro-
grammed contents from a personal computer to a receiver
using the IC-PCR2500 control software.
D Cloning using a personal computer
Data can be cloned to and from a personal computer (Mi-
crosoft
®
Windows
®
XP/2000/Me/98SE) and other settings can
also be programmed from a PC. Consult the IC-PCR1500/IC-
PCR2500’s Instruction manual for cloning details.

➥ Reading or writing Clone data
➥ Programming memory channels/memory banks/scan
edges
➥ Programming set mode settings
➥ Transferring the data of PC (PCR2500) to receiver (R2500)
or receiver (R2500) to PC (PCR2500)
➥ Automatic mode settings
• The automatic mode setting automatically sets the receive
mode, IF filter passband width, tuning step, etc. after inputting
frequency ranges.
➥ Skip area settings
• The skip area setting is available for skipping unwanted fre-
quency ranges that inconveniently stop scanning.
