Upgraden van de firmware
Hardware en software zijn aan verandering onderhevig. Om nieuwe
fuctionaliteit in te bouwen of problemen op te lossen, verschijnen met
regelmaat nieuwe firmware-versies. Deze zijn eenvoudig te installeren.
Let op: installeer nooit firmwares die niet van onze website
www.icarusreader.com komen. Installeer alleen firmware updates als dit
in uw geval noodzakelijk is (om een probleem te verhelpen of nieuwe
functionaliteit te installeren).
Let op: het upgraden van de firmware kost veel energie; de e-reader
dient daarom volledig opgeladen te zijn. Alternatief kunt u de e-reader
met de optioneel verkrijgbare ICARUS USB lader (ACD0052-EU) op
netspanning aansluiten tijdens het daadwerkelijke upgraden. Als de
e-reader tijdens een upgrade zonder stroom komt te zitten, kan dit
leiden tot niet functioneren van het apparaat.
Hoe kan de firmware geupgrade worden?
In sommige gevallen kan een firmware via Wi-Fi (Over The Air) worden
gedownload en geïnstalleerd. In andere gevallen is wellicht een
handmatige installatie nodig. Neem in geval van twijfel contact op met
