Onderhoud
Velgen vervangen
Als u om de een of andere reden de
velgen wilt vervangen, dient u erop
te letten dat de nieuwe velgen
gelijkwaardig zijn aan de originele
velgen voor wat betreft diameter,
velgbreedte en offset (wielbolling).
Grip
De grip van de banden kan
verslechteren als de banden
versleten zijn of niet op de juiste
spanning zijn, of als u op een glad
wegdek rijdt. Banden moeten
worden vervangen als de
slijtageindicatoren zichtbaar zijn. Pas
uw snelheid aan als er regen,
sneeuw of ijzel op de weg ligt om de
kans te verkleinen dat u de controle
over de auto verliest.
Onderhoud van banden
Naast een juiste bandenspanning,
draagt een juiste wieluitlijning bij tot
het beperken van de bandenslijtage.
Laat uw Erkend Reparateur de
wieluitlijning controleren als een
band ongelijkmatig afgesleten is.
Zorg ervoor dat nieuwe wielen
uitgebalanceerd zijn. Dit komt het
rijcomfort en de levensduur van de
banden ten goede. Balanceer een
wiel ook altijd wanneer de band van
de velg verwijderd is geweest.
Label op de wang van de band
Deze informatie bestaat uit
de basiseigenschappen van de
band en het identificatienummer
voor veiligheidscertificatie. Het
identificatienummer kan worden
gebruikt om de band te identificeren
bij een terugroepactie.

van het wiellager, de remweg,
de rijeigenschappen, de
grondspeling, de ruimte tussen
de band en de carrosserie, de
ruimte bij het gebruik van

afstelling en de bumperhoogte.
