Onderhoud
ACCU
Voor een optimale werking van
de accu
• Zorg ervoor dat de accu altijd goed
vastzit.
• Houd de bovenzijde van de accu
schoon en droog.
• Houd de accupolen en de
accupoolklemmen schoon, zorg
ervoor dat ze goed vastzitten en
bescherm ze met vaseline.
• Spoel gemorst elektrolyt direct
af met een oplossing van water
en natriumbicarbonaat (dubbel
koolzure soda).
• Neem de accukabels los als u de
auto gedurende een langere
periode niet gaat gebruiken.
Informatie - Voor accu’s met
een merkteken UPPER en
LOWER.
Indien uw auto is uitgerust met een accu
met aan de zijkant de merktekens
LOWER (MIN) en UPPER (MAX),
moet u het elektrolytpeil controleren.
Het elektrolytpeil moet zich tussen de
merktekens UPPER MAX) en LOWER
(MIN) bevinden. Als het elektrolytpeil
laag is, moet gedestilleerd (of
gedemineraliseerd) water worden
bijgevuld. (Vul nooit zwavelzuur of
ander elektrolyt toe.) (Vervolg)

Wees voorzichtig en mors geen
gedestilleerd (of gedemineraliseerd)
water op de accu of andere omliggende
onderdelen.
Vul ook niet te veel water bij in de
accucellen.
Dat kan corrosie van de accu of van
andere onderdelen veroorzaken. Zet tot
slot de doppen van de cellen stevig vast.
We adviseren u echter voor optimaal
accuonderhoud contact op te nemen
met een officiële Hyundai-dealer.

Lees de aanwijzingen
voor het omgaan met de
accu zorgvuldig door en
volg ze nauwkeurig op.

om uw ogen tegen
wegspattend zuur te
beschermen.
