Wat te doen in een noodgeval
Als uw temperatuurmeter een te
hoge temperatuur aangeeft, als u
vermogensverlies bespeurt of
wanneer u luid kloppende of
pingelende geluiden hoort, is de
motor waarschijnlijk oververhit
geraakt. Als dat gebeurt moet u:
1. De auto zo snel mogelijk op een
veilige plaats tot stilstand
brengen.
2. Zet de selectiehendel in stand
P (parkeren, automatische
transmissie / Double clutch-
transmissie) of de vrijstand
(handgeschakelde transmissie)
en activeer de parkeerrem.
Schakel de airconditioning uit als
deze is ingeschakeld.
3. Zet de motor uit als er
koelvloeistof onder de auto
uitloopt of stoom onder de
motorkap vandaan komt. Open de
motorkap niet zolang er nog
koelvloeistof onder de auto
uitloopt of stoom onder de
motorkap vandaan komt. Laat de
motor draaien als er geen
koelvloeistof of stoom te zien is en
controleer of de koelventilator
draait. Zet de motor uit als de
koelventilator niet draait.
4. Controleer de radiateur en de
slangen op koelvloeistoflekkage
en kijk onder de auto of er
koelvloeistof te zien is. (Als de
airconditioning ingeschakeld was,
is het normaal dat er koud water
onder de auto uitloopt als u de auto
tot stilstand brengt.)
5. Zet de motor onmiddellijk uit als er
koelvloeistof lekt en neem contact
op met een officiële HYUNDAI-
dealer.

Voorkom ernstig
letsel en zorg ervoor
dat uw handen,
kleding en
gereedschap niet in
aanraking komen met
bewegende onder-
delen zoals de
koelventilator en de
aandrijfriem als de
motor draait.
